Now that the election is in the past, and we now have the insight of looking back, do you think any of the other Republican candidates running for congress could have won the general election against Hillary?
If so, which other candidate(s) do you think also would have defeated Hillary, and which important swing states that Trump won or lost do you think they would pick up?
I am the only other person who could have beaten her besides Trump.
No
Nope!!!!
Nope.
No. They would all have cried and crumbled when the biased media attacks began from the summer onwards. It took a real alpha male with balls to take down Hellary and the corrupt cartel that supports her.
There are very few individuals in the history of the Republic who would have managed to replicate Trump’s achievements. Washington, Reagan, Patton and McCarthur perhaps
Not a chance.
None of the others would have survived October. None except Cruz would have even fought back.
Rubio could have beaten her . . . to the nearest foam party!
Could any of the other 16 Republican’s have defeated Hillary, and if they had, would it have even mattered??
No
Don't you wish it could have been this dolt instead?
No.
No.
No!
Donald said the things everyone was thinking. None of the others had the guts....except for maybe Carly in terms of calling things out as they are.
Trump was a fighter in the election, and he will fight for this country 24/7 for the next 8 years. I hope at that point that many current Democrats will see and experience the turnaround of the country and be convinced to be Republicans. That will be the key to the future.
Go Donald.
Not no, but HELL NO! Not a chance.
All the others would have won all the states that Romney won in 2012. Maybe Cruz, Rubio or Jeb might have also carried Florida, but other than that, I don’t see any of them flipping any other 0bama won states.
YES.
I still believe Marco Rubio could have taken her on easily.
That's better.
No.
But the reasons are hard to explore, MOSTLY because of the amusing reality underway right now.
The exit polls were wrong. Period.
But it is from the exit polls that all the questions and positions being discussed came from. You heard Trump got 35% of Hispanic vote? You heard he won white college educated 49-45? You heard Hillary was rated higher on experience?
You heard all that from exit polls, and they were wrong. And that means, people, no one really knows why he won. All the delving into attitudes is data from a source already proven wrong.
So we can only guess. I guess he is an Independent who managed to get the GOP nomination, sounded nothing like a traditional politician, and everyone hated him. The people loved all of that, and voted for him.
Yes. Hillary was prwtty bad. But they would all lose to the media
