California today is by far the most corrupt state in the history of this country. They are so far gone, they actually brag about their corruption. They want illegal voting and promote it, they actually believe that promoting illegal voting is a higher moral standard...because it keeps their corrupt asses in power.

Honestly, the federal government needs to come in and forcibly remove the California state government and take over the state. It is too far gone to ever be restored as a functioning state within the federal system. An entirely new, restructured state system needs to be created after the millions of illegal anti-American, pro-Aztlan invaders are forcibly repatriated to their countries of origin.

And to make it worse, Harry Reid is now creating the same corrupt system in Clark County, Nevada.

CA’s voting system is so corrupt; it should not even be counted at all for any national elections. If they are okay with a corrupt system internally that’s fine but when it affects us all; it’s most definitely not fine.

**California today is by far the most corrupt state in the history of this country.**

I beg to differ. CT is on the verge of bankruptcy.

Didn’t clinton wait until the deadline to file so that trump wouldn’t have chance to counter file in states?

A recount, or a proper vetting of the votes. If 30-40$ of California’s votes are known to be illegal, then California’s electoral votes should be thrown out.

Both of my kids now live, and are registered in other counties, and have been for at least two years, but are still on the books at my polling place.

A race-based consent decree negotiated by Democrats against the Republican National Committee a generation ago still has tied the RNC’s hands, and GOP officials could be cited for contempt – or worse – if they try to make sure American elections are clean.

The case, Republican National Committee vs. Democratic National Committee, dealt with a consent decree issued in 1982 that prevents the RNC from engaging in some voter fraud prevention efforts without prior court consent. It specifically said the RNC could not engage in ballot security efforts (later defined in 1987 as “ballot integrity, ballot security or other efforts to prevent or remedy vote fraud,” according to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit opinion), especially in areas where racial or ethnic makeup could be considered a reason for the activities.

In deciding the case, which stems from a 2008 lawsuit brought by the DNC, the district court clarified ballot security efforts as “any program aimed at combating voter fraud by preventing potential voters from registering to vote or casting a ballot,” and upheld the consent decree while adding a Dec. 1, 2017, expiration date.

“It takes 270 electoral votes to be elected President.”

Not true.

The 12th Amendment states that the candidate who wins a majority of “the electors present”, becomes the president.

If Hillary managed to get the three states’ electors disqualified, she’d still have to win the majority of those seated. With the current math, she’d still lose.

To win, she has to actually flip a number of electors (don’t remember the number).

If his presidency is at stake, he would.

Then he better.

Hillary said they would all hang from nooses. Would you try to steal three states to avoid the noose? Would you try until they forced you to stop?

>>>A simple majority of the electoral votes cast is simply not suffient to win the Presidency<<<

That isn’t correct. As another Poster noted on another Thread, the Constitution does not say anything about 270 Electoral Votes. It’s a Majority.

A recount of popular vote in California, where she received all of the electoral college votes anyway, won’t change a thing in the election. This cry of popular vote is a good excuse to raise questions of how are system is used, but it has nothing to do with this election. It is just a way to create problems using the same tactics the southern democrats did during slavery to use their “property” to get power. You can say she took the popular vote. But she only took 21 states. For the purposes of how our system works, it means just as much.

Off topic, I am always annoyed that the California ballot is in English and Spanish. It should be in English only. I’ve seen local ballots in Vietnamese along with Spanish and English.

“A simple majority of the electoral votes cast is simply not suffient to win the Presidency. For Hillary to become President she would need the electoral votes of WI, PA and MI.”

I thought that as well, but it’s wrong.

It’s a majority of electors appointed, not a majority of all possible electors.

I don’t think the federal government can do anything to preserve the integrity of state elections, but what about the federal elections? Can’t the federal government require that the federal elections be held to certain standards to preserve integrity—and that if the standards are not met, the federal votes from that state won’t be counted?

Horrible move. It would stretch way past meeting of EC and throw election to the House, and that is NOT a certainty for Trump.

Your experience is a fantastic illustration of why we need voter ID laws in every state.

It isn’t just that the excuses for not having voter ID laws are so transparently flimsy. It’s that the Democrats are perfectly aware that we know they are scams, and they do not care. That says a lot about their arrogance and their confidence that they will be able to remain in power forever (and keep the people crushed).

Yes, the Dems don’t care.

To get away with the excuse that if your skin is dark you are too stupid and helpless to obtain a driver’s license. THAT IS ALL THEY HAVE.

It’s like saying we are denying dark people a chance to use credit cards, or a chance to play baseball or fly on a plane.

WE HAVE BEEN LED BY THE GOPE who has bought this LIE.
