Disney's homegrown animated family film Moana continued to dominate at the Thanksgiving box office, grossing $10 million for a five-day holiday debut of $85 million $91 million, according to early estimates.

it is looking like famine for Warren Beatty's Rules Don't Apply, which may only earn only $2 million from 2,382 runs for the five days after grossing a scant $285,000 on Wednesday from 2,382 theaters for a two-day total of $600,000.
Not a fan of WB but any movie today not loaded with CGI special effects has a box office disadvantage.
Another Disney production featuring “noble savages” and non-traditional heroines, including a les-bi — Moana, Merida, Pocohantas, Mulan — and praised by Left wing media critics.
Sorry girls, no more princesses and princes for you.
Look at the trailer for Rules Don’t Apply, then at Moana..... then tell me Beatty is the one who needs to go away. Our moviegoing public are idiots, CGI addicted idiots. Idiots who were astounded to find out Titanic was a real ship.

It felt more like grownups playing dress-up and pretending it was the 1960s. It was better than seeing the usual violence and sensationalism of movies. The shame is it could've been something special,

Why would beatty think a film about Howard Hughes would be a success? Most people, other than maybe the boomers, probably don’t even know who he was or anything about his strange - to put it mildly - quirks and behavior, other than maybe what Dicaprio told them about in “the Aviator.”
Yes, kinda/sorta like Chevy trying to sell the Nova in Mexico, which translated means “No-go” !!!
