I am not sure Gingrich is calling any shots. He suddenly got kind of sidelined once the 5 year ban on lobbyists was announced.
Newt has huge connections to the industry and in my mind should be considered a lobbyist.
As much as I’d like to “Make the Moon Great Again”, Trump’s team needs to cut out NASA’s politically correct silliness first, then start focusing on programs that benefit Americans here on earth.
But now Muslims will feel left out, especially after so many unheralded contributions to science and space exploration. What to do????!!!

NASA should be re-directed to updating the nations airports. Installing state of the art equipment and improving safety.
They should totally dump the “Muslim outreach” crap, and stick to their specialties.
The National Areonautics and Space Administration needs to work within their title, and leave the socialism stuff by the wayside.
This would greatly fulfill the airport infrastructure promises Trump made in his campaign. Two birds with one stone...and, MORE JOBS!

It’s a nice idea, but unless they can accomplish it in 4 or 8 years, it can be dismantled by the next person in office, or even scuttled if Congress changes hands.

Enjoyed watching NASA rocket launches on TV when growing up.
Problem with NASA is that it is another example of federal taxing and spending with no constitutionally enumerated powers to do so.
So NASA should be another proposed amendment on Trump’s amendment list, at least to get citizens up to speed with the idea that the states, not the feds, ultimately call the shots in the USA.
The consequence of not waking citizens up to the constitutional reality that the states call the shots is that it’s only a matter of time before we have another lawless president who works in cahoots with corrupt Congress to oppress citizens with stolen 10th Amendment-protected power of the states and the people.
Kerry has never been to the moon. It’s high time he goes.
