I understand that and I agree. She has a case as a parent to be rightfully pissed off - I agree. I’m just saying she also has a duty to protect herself from potential future debt caused by decisions of others who totally by passed her rights as a parent. What they have done is to potentially incur debt for her for something to which she never agreed.

I think it is enough for her to take her stand ... and legal fees should lay with the public she's attempting to educate and protect.
