FULL TITLE: Abortion Clinic Staffer: After Trump Victory, Women are Getting Abortions“As Soon as They Can,Just in Case”
Zadara Garcia is not sure how much longer she will have a job.
The 24-year-old works at a Texas abortion facility. Cosmopolitan recently talked with her about the atmosphere at her job since Republican Donald Trump won the presidential election last week.
Garcia, not her real name, said she is a patient assistant at the abortion clinic, and she always is busy. But her work has become even more hectic since the election.
On the day after the election, “I was going to call in sick — but when I got there, I was happy I came in because I didn’t have to think about it. I was busy — at the center, it’s always busy,” she said.
She told the magazine:
… we usually have quite a few missed appointments, or people call to reschedule, just to have more time to think. But since the election, barely anyone has rescheduled or missed an appointment. In the clinic, we’ve been saying that we guess everyone got nervous, and doesn’t want to miss it. Everyone is just trying to get in and be seen as soon as they can, just in case. …
Personally, I’m scared. The only negative emotion I have right now is that I wonder if I’ll have a secured job next year. I haven’t thought about what I would do, if not this, because it’s nerve-wracking. But I’m proud to be part of something that’s so controversial. I feel like I’m part of something that’s going to go down in history. Our organization is on the front lines. At our events, we’re always talking about the Supreme Court, and how the government is always trying to meddle in our uteruses, as Texas women. But we’re fighting against that. We’re standing up, standing proud, and walking into work, even when protesters are there.
Garcia also noted that pro-life “protesters” have not been outside her abortion clinic since the election. She said the situation is “weird” because pro-lifers typically showed up every single day in the past.

“They were there Monday and Tuesday before the election, in the morning. But not one protester has been here ever since the news broke about the election,” she said. “So that’s been good in a way — we haven’t gotten bothered or anything.”
Trump’s election has produced a lot of speculation about the future of abortion laws in the U.S. Trump, a recent convert to the pro-life cause, made a number of promises that could help protect many unborn babies from abortion in the future.
Trump said he will appoint “pro-life” justices to the U.S. Supreme Court and sign a bill to defund Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, as long as it keeps doing abortions. The president-elect said he also would support a measure to make permanent the Hyde Amendment, which prohibits taxpayer funding of abortion in Medicaid.
Isn’t it up to the Supreme Court?
I just discussed with my liberal mother that women do not have a choice under the current abortion climate, ie. if the rapist and pimp is not pursued for getting her pregnant and to pay for the pregnancy and child, she has no choice but to abort.
She replied that, yes, she has a choice to decide to kill it or not. To which I replied, “just like in the Soviet Union you had to choice to follow orders or go to the Gulag”
She still does not get it.

Actually, now. Some abortion facilities aren't above performing an "abortion" on a woman who isn't pregnant. Her money is as green as any other, and that's really what it's all about.
Early abortion baby parts are not worth much. Planned Parenthood must be upset. Spirit cookers too.

The pro-abortion interview is BS. Women are not getting abortions “as soon as possible” as if stocking up on birth control pills out of fear of Trump.
Most abortions are in the first half of the pregnancy, always have been. No one who wants one is going to do it now vs 3 months from now, and no one wants to have it done in the latter half of the pregnancy due to the physical impact.
