He ain’t the only one. Gingrich is also once again desperately trying to insert himself. Obviously these guys have something other than our best interest in mind.

I wouldn’t want to see anyone from the Bush years . . . but I’m pretty sure Trump is going to try to appease the elites by bringing in a few of those - who don’t deserve the dust off the bottom of his shoe (Paul Ryan being one of them). I suspect that the first wrong move, though, and they will get to hear the famous words, “You’re fired!”

There have been some real stalwarts that stuck with him right from the beginning and took a lot of heat for doing it - everyone of them should get something.

You could be right, but Bolton has great chutzpah and isn't afraid to throw it around.

Some GOPe weenie got all bent out of shape over Bolton's nomination a few years ago. I think the weenie was George Voinovich, and the nomination was for the UN ambassadorship.

IIRC Voinovich actually wept on the Senate floor, he was so upset about the Bolton nomination!

I’m going to leave it up to Trump to pick the best people for the positions.

I elected him, I’m putting my trust and faith in him.

I’m not going to second guess everyone, because to be perfectly honest, I frickin’ hate almost every Republican. I’m probably less than rational on the subject of Republicans. They have rubbed me the wrong way.

But he’s going to pick some Republicans, no doubt, so I;m gonna go along with the program and see what happens.

So far, I like that he has kept to family and loyalists. Trump isn’t stupid.

Romney needs to get lost too.

He’s trying to cast himself as a party elder.

Out of every Bush guy, i would give Bolton a pass.

He HATES the UN.

That’s a guy I want as UN ambassador. To make you feel better, he wont start a war there...just piss off the anti Americans who walk that building.

If anyone wishes to denigrate Bolton, please do it with something to back it up with.

I have always considered him to be a very astute commentator when it came to global dynamics.

Provide a short reason and a link to something you think he did wrong.

I and others will review it and agree or disagree.

I would be okay with him being appointed as UN Ambassador again. It was hilarious how much he pissed off the UN elite when he served before.

Bolton can be UN ambassador again. No way in Hell should he be SOS. No NeoCons can be allowed near State, Pentagon or National Security Council.

Bolton fight hard everytime the UN tried to ram gun control down into the USA heartland. I thank him for that.

Agreed!

President-Elect (LOVE THAT!) Trump needs to distance himself from ANYONE that has ANY lingering stench of Clinton or Bush.

I’m thinking/hoping/praying that he’s as smart as a fox and doesn’t invite ANY bad foxes into the Hen House!

Consider that one of the benefits of people like Mr. Bolton working for the Trump Administration is that patriots will make sure that federal officials like Bolton learn about the federal government’s constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

Note that Judge Andrew Napolitano will read Section 8 to people in a little under three minutes.
