My husband and I worked in a Christian mission in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, for many years. Sexual slavery is not a crime confined to Islam. There have been sex rings operating in Europe for a LONG time because of the legal prostitution shops and casinos. Thousands of young women and men are lured into Europe from third world countries by the promise of an arranged marriage or some type of employment and once they arrive are basically enslaved by the pimps and mafias. Some also come to work in the sex trade, but become enslaved because of debt or drug habits.
