[Vanity] Are the people calling for Ryan's removal looking to delay Trumps agenda

Posted on 11/11/2016 5:42:16 PM PST by MagillaX

So we now here the calls to remove Ryan as the speaker of the house. Is it a good or bad idea.

Reason for removal: Can't be trusted

Reason for staying: Removal will involve changes in leadership and delays in Trumps agenda, Wisconsin went for Trump and Ryan did give some support in final days of campaign.

Risk assessment: Trust is not needed initially as long as Ryan follows through with Trumps agenda, potential for back stabbing increases with time.

Leadership change will delay Trumpa agenda causing potential risk of opposition as honeymoon period passes.

New leadership may be even worse.

Conclusion: Leadership change should be shelved for the year as long as Ryan commits to supporting Trumps 100 day agenda.

Emotions need to be checked at the door.

Who cares what the media says!

I care, because already they're crafting the narrative that Trump needs to reach across the aisle, or he needs to work with Congress.

Why don't you guys just sit back, go into a hot tub or something, and crack open a cold one and relax for God's sake instead of worrying about what Ryan is doing or if Trump is flip-flopping s--t now?

I agree. Ryan doesn’t support Trump. He should step down. Neither does McConnell.

I’ve given people with bad character (as opposed to people who have made mistakes) second chances. The result was always harmful to me and to the organizations that I led. My two cents worth is that he should be banished to the back bench.

I didn’t get to vote on Paul Ryan. I don’t live in his district.

I didn’t have any chance to vote this useless moron out.

And I didn’t say “nothing to do with it”.

I said he’s done nothing with it, as in the gavel. He has accomplished nothing as Speaker.

He did nothing for America or Americans, and he should through this entire primary and presidential election that his political instinct is garbage, and he doesn’t understand American voters at all.

He’s a complete f***ing idiot.

He is about as useful as Linseed Graham or any other loser Repubic of that ilk.

Post a freeper poll on this.
I predict a 99% vote for the boot.
The guy is a total wind driven phony.
He stands for nothing.

I’m trying to set aside all of my preconceived positions on Ryan and McConnell.

If they’re good enough for Trump, if he figures they are worth the trouble, then it’s good enough for me.

The question is...do you believe them and their narrative?

Why are you tying disfavor of Ryan with Trump flip-flopping.

You're equating one with the other when it doesn't exist.

I didn’t get to vote on Paul Ryan. I don’t live in his district.

Too bad, so sad. The people of his district voted for him. It wasn't even a landslide. It was a volcanic lava flow.

I didn’t have any chance to vote this useless moron out.

Hey, them's the rules. Don't like Ryan, then donate money to his challenger then.

And I didn’t say “nothing to do with it”. I said he’s done nothing with it, as in the gavel. He has accomplished nothing as Speaker.

I agree with you, but this isn't the fight right now. Trump is assembling his team together and putting forth his agenda. There'll be plenty of time to deal with Ryan later.

He did nothing for America or Americans, and he should through this entire primary and presidential election that his political instinct is garbage, and he doesn’t understand American voters at all.

Again, no argument from moi.

Lyin Ryan needs to return ‘we the peoples check book’, and become a silent backbencher. He is part of the swamp and needs flushed out. Ryan is a life long government parasite.

The question is...do you believe them and their narrative?

Trick question. I can spot their narrative a light-year away. But the Trump supporters who aren't members of FR will swallow it up and start believing that Trump is deceiving them.

Deal with Ryan after Trump is inaugurated. Now's not the time to be engaging in pissing matches.

You can have spending increases in defense and infrastructure without a ceiling increase.

Cut elsewhere.

We the people can multitask.. and Trump/Pence do not need to have to waste time dealing with this double dealing jerk.

Because the media is already creating this crap that Trump is flip-flopping, or he'll need to work with Congress, when Trump did nothing of the sort. Even after his meeting with Obama, they tried to say Trump has dialed back his issues.

DON'T FALL FOR ANY OF THIS STUFF. JUST LET TRUMP GET HIS TEAM IN PLACE AND WE CAN WORRY ABOUT THIS LATER.
