[Vanity] Are the people calling for Ryan's removal looking to delay Trumps agenda

Posted on 11/11/2016 5:42:16 PM PST by MagillaX

So we now here the calls to remove Ryan as the speaker of the house. Is it a good or bad idea.

Reason for removal: Can't be trusted

Reason for staying: Removal will involve changes in leadership and delays in Trumps agenda, Wisconsin went for Trump and Ryan did give some support in final days of campaign.

Risk assessment: Trust is not needed initially as long as Ryan follows through with Trumps agenda, potential for back stabbing increases with time.

Leadership change will delay Trumpa agenda causing potential risk of opposition as honeymoon period passes.

New leadership may be even worse.

Conclusion: Leadership change should be shelved for the year as long as Ryan commits to supporting Trumps 100 day agenda.

Emotions need to be checked at the door.

Ryno Ryan is an Anti-Trumper. He grudgingly supported Trump after dragging it out after Trump won the primary.

He was the first guy to try and throw Trump under the bus when the Democrats trotted out the Billy Bush tape.

Ryan wanted Hillary because he is the ultimate Washington insider.

He is EVERYTHING we just voted against.

He must go !

I would boot him. He is unreliable, to me he had a shot if he backed Trump 100% since Trump won the primaries, but since he waffled with the “Trump Tape” and some even said he was in on it, I don’t want him to continue. But I can forgive him if he will be 100% in Trump’s corner for now on. And I mean 100%, no waffling, no settle differences or any of that nonsense. Supports 100% of everything Trump wants to accomplish and not sabotage anything. If he does that, I can forgive him. But why risk it though? We know what he is capable of

Trump has proved dramatically that he is adept at reading people.

If I were to guess how he reads Ryan, it would be that Ryan is so wildly ambitious that he will lick Trumps boots and jump to his bidding in the hope or rather with the goal of gaining power and eventually become the next rino nominee.

Trump will, if my guess is right, take advantage of that to get things done in the first 100 days.

After that?

Note that when big corporations swallow another company, they always make a public announce ment that the company acquired will operate as they have in the past and that Mr. whomever will remain as CEO.

And they usually do.....for about six months or so.

MagillaX says it's okay to lie and cheat today, don't do it for a few months, then resume unethical behavior.

Trust is not needed initially as long as Ryan follows through with Trumps agenda, potential for back stabbing increases with time.

the greatest hope the anti-Trumpers have in thwarting his agenda

This is why all of those of questionable loyalty, and proven RINOs need to go. Get every one of them out of leadership positions.

Will you feel the same if Ryan Rams through Obama’s bills during the
Lame duck against Trumps wishes?

Will any of you Ryan supporters feel the same if Ryan betrays
Trumps wishes during the lame duck?

Now's not the time to play these revenge games.

Revenge isn't the name of the game, practicality is.

How does defeating his most serious primary challenger by 70 points help America or Americans?

Why should Paul Ryan keep the gavel when he has done nothing with it?

Because that was our chance to take Ryan out (which would have helped America), and we failed. Nehlen lost by over 70 points.

Why should Paul Ryan keep the gavel when he has done nothing with it?

It has nothing to do with "nothing to do with it," which I'm presuming you're talking about Trump's victory. It's about stability and preventing the lib media from creating a false narrative that Congressional Republicans are already revolting against Trump, or something.

Trump is one of the greatest businessmen in modern times. I trust everything will fall into place and he'll get his agenda passed.

He can ram them all he wants it won't pass the House, let alone pass the Senate anyway.

Will any of you Ryan supporters feel the same if Ryan betrays Trumps wishes during the lame duck?

I'm not a Ryan supporter and Ryan wouldn't dare double-cross Trump.

Trump will back a debt ceiling raise. He promised spending increases in defense and infrastructure.

What will be interesting is whether he insists on a short-term CR from the Lame Duck so he can get ‘his’ (more conservative) budget passed in the Spring. And how Ryan and McConnell respond to that.
Ryan and Mitch- and their Democrat friends- want an omnibus bill for the whole year.

Owen insists verbatim: 1) Trumps compelling policy agenda was “I am not Hillary”.

Lets correct that stupid globalist crap assertion right off. Trumps comprehensive compelling policy agenda starts with foreigners who mean us harm need to not be here and must be removed. Can the bullshit Owen.

" But I can forgive him if he will be 100% in Trump’s corner for now on."

He hasn't been on the side of the American people since he's been in the Speaker position, what makes you think he'll be in Trump's corner 100%? He's already proven that he can't be trusted. Why waste time on a known traitor when there's probably somebody more deserving of the Speakership in the House? Overlooking his past bad behavior, and letting him stay Speaker is something the Democrats would do. He'd be rewarded for his back stabbing. I can't do that. Get rid of him now so he doesn't have a chance to screw us over again.

Who cares what the media says! They're KNOWN liars who will say anything.

And as to stability, past track records prove instability on his part.

That’s a good point.

Come January, after the Lame Duck, Ryan stands for Speaker.
And he won’t get it if he’s opposed Trump.
