Safety pins are providing a safety net for groups left feeling vulnerable in Donald Trump’s America. Amid mounting reports of racial and sexual harassment apparently spurred by the mogul’s election, kindred spirits fastened pins to their shirts in solidarity — mirroring a movement adopted by Brits in the face of post-Brexit vote bigotry. “To my fellow Americans, I will be your #safespace #LoveTrumpsHate if you see me with my #safetypin on, know I am an ally. The Punks in the 70s, used safety pins as well.
I wore an American flag pin every day after 9-11, evern wore it during the first Obama administration. First black President, I understood that, but the day after Obama was re-elected, I quit wearing it. A country that would elect the first black President, I get that, but to re-elect him, I was a bit embarrassed. Wednesday morning I started wearing it again.
If it hadn’t been for two women lying about being groped, we might have just re-elected Herman Cain as our first Republican black President.
Wear a pacifier in case they want to give their thumb a break.
I didn’t say I support this. I think it’s silly and disgusting. My sister is all weepy and up in arms over Trump’s election. She was the one who told me about this.
They don’t know. They’re just brainwashed to do what they’re told.

It’s no coincidence that safety pins are used to hold up diapers. But they’re going to need some big ones as wet as some of these are.
I would think binkies would be more appropriate.
Great idea. I like it when idiots label themselves. Saves me the trouble of figuring out if they have anything worthwhile to contribute.
