SEVNICA, Slovenia — When Melania Trump was born in 1970, her small industrial hometown on the banks of the Sava River was part of Communist Yugoslavia.

Forty-six years later, she is married to the next leader of the free world and the rural Slovenian town of Sevnica is embracing the success of its most famous citizen.

My wife (legal Russian immigrant from early 1990's) is thrilled with Melania. Very common for Eastern European women to really focus on always looking !! jaw dropping good !! (yes, I married above my grade). She is looking forward to Melania's fashions, and I will probably go broke when she tries to keep up with her ... although probably not, since Melania wears a lot of things that are actually quite inexpensive, she just makes them look like a million bucks.

BTW, wife also noted that during acceptance speech, Melania looked to be wearing a very nice white dress, but it was in actuality a pantsuit, and she laughed because she thinks that was a purposeful dig at Hillary.
