Where’s the image of Wolf Blitzer’s feet?
All the Hollywood losers. Concerts for nothing. HAHAHAHAHA!
The funniest for me, was watching “Mapguy” n FBN....at one point he was desperately trying to do the math to makke a “hypothetical” Clintoon win...it was a riot!! (Im guessing he did not do well in math—EVER)
I turned off Fox when they trotted Krauthammer out to try to be an election analyst, which he most certainly is not. When he was asked why he thought Hillary would take Florida he basically muttered, well because. He sounded like a middle schooler.
I go with CNN in general, and Wolf in particular. He kept begging his fellow CNN RATS to find a possible path for Hillary to win. I missed the Maddow meltdown.
One of the info babes on Fox mentioned that some newspaper already had the “Hillary Wins” headline printed and ready to distribute.
It could alternatively read "Alex Jones now more trusted than MSM".
Did Carville put the wastebasket over his head this time?
favorite moment???
hands down follwoing the live election thread here at FR, which was my source for the election, and reading several posts which read “WISCONSIN!!!”
I said no freggin way!!!
Fox Business Network’s Lisa Kennedy: “The media have become self-licking lollipops.”
Hubby and I were watching Fox Business. Every time they went to Clinton’s HQ and showed the crowd with all the angst and anguish was best. Second was Barron at Trump’s victory speech. Poor kid was SO tired. His facial expressions were priceless as he tried to stay awake for his dad’s speech.
Chris Matthews doing a face palm and saying “Jesus, he could win this.”
When everyone at Hitlery’s election party realized she wasn’t even in the building and wasn’t going to show up. They look dejected and pissed. Many cried.
Worst moment
When the guy on ABC said that this was gonna be the last time the Republican Party could rely on old white men to win elections. He then said “they are going to have to start appealing to people who read and people who think”
Say What???
I only have OTA where I am, so don’t judge me, but all I had available was ABC, and the dramatic shift from the early evening where they were going on and on about how Hillary had so many paths to 270, while Trump had only the barest outside chance that depended on some ridiculously complex set of circumstances. Then just a few hours later Trump is easily pulling in the states he needs, and everyone on the set has this bewildered, shell-shocked look, like their puppy died, and talking about how Hillary has this ever-narrowing chance.
While Florida was in play, they kept going back to Broward, and how there were so many Dem votes there that it was going to be difficult for Trump’s votes up in the Panhandle to overcome. And then, once it became obvious that Hillary wasn’t going to get the surge she needed in Wisconsin or Arizona, they started in on backbiting and reassuring themselves about how horrible Trump was, and how everyone had failed to see this coming. The snappish tempers as they lit into each other, while steadfastly refusing to call either the WI or AZ races, despite wide leads for Trump with substantial percentages of the vote already in, was the pinnacle of the night.
I did also enjoy the dispirited pffft that the Hillary election party ended with, as Podesta came out and told them all that there wouldn’t be any more to see that night but that it wasn’t over, so everyone had to sort of just wander off. Especially since the race was called less than an hour later, including Hillary’s concession call.
Rachel Maddow’s “bad dream” meltdown was good, but I liked this quote that appeared in Maureen Dowd’s column (attributed to one of her family members who voted for Trump):
The Clintons remind me of the Universal horror movies where you thought the monster was dead and then the monster would show up in a bad sequel. Im glad now that theyre finally gone.
Van Jones playing the race card, claiming ‘whitelash’.
He apparently didn’t notice that the contest was between two white people.
Reminded me of Judy Woodruff in '04. Pure viewing pleasure!
George Snufalupagus started out with a game show host winning smile. I enjoyed watching his demeanor change from orgasmic bliss to looking like he just lost his BFF. Which he kinda did. I also enjoyed how when it was obvious Trump was going to take it, the ABC panel shifted their focus on how “uneducated” the Trump voters were based on exit polls. It was all they had left.
