I see by the number of articles this morning that I'm not the only one who noticed. I'm linking to this one due to the adorable picture of the father-son behind the scenes tie-tying moment.
"Congratulations" to Mr Trump and "way to go" young Mr Trump.
There has been a delay in getting Hillary to sober-up for a concession speech.
Just waiting for the inevitable "It takes a Village" group to get wildly indignant about this child abuse!
Boy, there’s a reporter struggling to find something pertinent to write about.
Yeah, at that age kids really need their sleep so I am sure he was trying to stay awake.
The campaign was probably very grueling for him too.
I had to laugh at the scum that said Trump wasn’t a good Dad because Barron is only 10 and should have been home in bed.
Hey jerk twitter turd, I am sure he will never regret a little sleep loss to see his Dad accept the job of POTUS!
Yes, Barron definitely was not having a great time. Someday the little guy will understand the magnitude of the moment.
All of us had to endure some boring grown up stuff when we were kids.
I was watching him... he looked like a zombie. Way past his bedtime!
Sweet picture at link ofTrump taking time to fix his son’s tie. Loving man.
10 year old sleepy at 3 AM and they are trying to spin this???
Barron is a normal kid. (The whole family is gosh-darn normal!) I’m sure he doesn’t relish the spotlight, and he probably isn’t thrilled about being fodder for the MSM in the goldfish bowl that will be his home for the next four years. I hope they have the decency to leave Barron alone and pick on Don Jr. or somebody else who can fight back.
Give the kid a break. He’s 10 years old, had probably been up for 18 hours and it was 3 in the morning!
He’s only 10? He is tall.
My son is the same age as Barron, born the same month, and he was not able to stay awake as I watched Donald graciously accept his victory. I also noticed Barron batting his eyes and moving from side to side struggling to stay awake.
I thought why young Barron would be subjected to this and the answer was two-fold I thought. First, he was with the family the entire night watching the results and likely was adamant to go watch his Dad accept the victory. My own son often begs to stay up for an event although he’s ready to pass out. If there’s a couch, booth or bed nearby, he will pass out asleep. He’s done this before many times.
Second, this is one of the most important events of young Barron’s life as it is for his entire family.
Now Barron can get some richly deserved extra time with his Father who has been sorely missing from most all famly life for more than a year (I’ve read how the family and especially Barron have missed their family head so much).
I’ve never seen anyone, especially a man of 70 years, work so hard to achieve something as I have seen Donald fight to be elected President. I have been amazed for more than a year at Donald’s passion and energy level. He is amazing.
He more than deserves a vacation with his family.
He seemed extremely shy, also.
The resemblance is remarkable, especially when you consider how the POTUS-elect looked in HIS younger days.
Barron stole the show without intending to. His facial expressions were priceless. Poor kid. Hubby and I were so cracked up. We really felt for him.
Yes, he was tired and kept fidgeting. Poor thing. Still, his mama should have grabbed his hand or hugged him so he’d stand still.
