I remember 1980 well. Only news source was MSN . I knew I didn’t want 4 more years of Carter but the media did a good job of portraying Reagan as a dummy actor who wanted nuclear war with the USSR. So I voted 3rd party Anderson from Illinois . Still regret as a younger voter being snookered by the media. Went Reagan in 1984.
MSM is dead to me.
I don’t think that it will work this time, but it might keep some democrats at home...

It’s gonna be 2004 on steroids. Don’t forget, the folks at Slate are promising real-time exit polling data from “key states” tomorrow. Given Slate’s editorial slant, I’d expect a heavy dose of anything favorable to Clinton and little to encourage Trump supporters. Get the pro-Hillary stuff out early enough to depress GOP voters in places like North Carolina, Michigan and elsewhere.
There are some who are discouraged, some who are anxious. But none so discouraged that they won’t vote.
Things got bad under Carter. I voted for him the first time
he ran; but NEXT time after he managed to louse things up
in this country real lousy, I voted REAGAN and NEVER looked
back. Carter kept blaming the mess HE made on ME, saying I
was in a MALAISE. HE was the MALAISE! As HILLARY would be if
we drop the ball.

The difference is the fact that all conservatives KNOW the polls are rigged or are low information but pissed off and thus don’t care and will vote for the anti-establishment candidate.
Do they report exit polls all day? I thought it was only after they close.
I’d think it’s the one thing they can’t lie about. If they made up numbers favoring the beast first they’ll look like complete morons once the returns come in. I bet they’ll try to save “face” and actually report the truth. Otherwise their ratings will plummet.
Suspect media....Fox, et al, will begin ‘calling’ States at 8:01 pm. Drives me crazy!! Wish Congress would pass law that no ‘calls’ can be made until ALL votes in ALL States were in and counted. Probably would go into next day but so what....when they begin ‘calling’ States some believe ‘it’s over, so no sense voting’. Not sure if I can even watch...maybe Fox Biz network.
They will start adding Mexican states to her vote totals...
