Jmouse007 is not just any FRiend on this forum but someone who actually lived through a stolen election.
He thought he was 'dressing me down', but actually I roused him to share this experience with the world. I take no offense -- just glad to get a first hand account of stark history.

Regarding the Government controlled media in the Ukraine at the time; as someone who was there and had been working in country for years, just like the American MSM, the Ukrainian TV, radio and print media were all totally in the tank for the corrupt Ukrainian government and its ploy to steal the election.
For decades it had been and was a propaganda arm of the utterly corrupt government; in this case the President Kutchma regime that was actively involved with Putin/Russia in rigging and stealing the election for Victor Yanokovich = a TWICE CONVICTED FELON AND MEMBER/HEAD OF THE RUSSIAN MAFIA IN UKRAINE.
As soon as the election was over the MSM quickly proclaimed that Yanokvich won in a landslide (due to vote rigging and ballot box stuffing) and went right along with proclaiming the lie that Yushenko lost the election and that Yanokovich has "won".
ALL of the TV, radio and print media kept repeating "the big lie" for days and days after the fraudulent election results had been posted. However, the populace didn't believe or fall for any of it. Because like Trump vs Clinton, Yuschenko ran on a platform to end corruption and was wildly popular with his rallies drawing huge crowds of enthusiastic voters while Yanokvich was pushed by the government the MSM establishment and the Russian mafia. His lack luster campaign events drew few people. He had little support because the populace knew who and what he was.
The news shows on ALL of the networks invited a multitude of professional, "talking heads" (who were unanimously supporting the corrupt regime) all day long to perpetuate the fraud, confirm the cooked "election results", prop up Yanokovich and vilify the petulant protesters. The MSM also went out of their way to habitually denigrate the protesters and to drastically downplay the significance of the Orange Revolution, the size of the demonstrations and how many people were actually involved.
In spite of all the propaganda, "spin" and outright lies perpetuated by the media, working in consort with the corrupt Ukrainian government/regime to attempt to dampen public opinion, public support for the movement and end the Orange Revolution, NOTHING WORKED! EVERYTHING THEY TRIED BACKFIRED: THE PROTESTS EXPANDED, THE CROWDS GREW EXPONENTIALLY AND CONTINUED DAY AND NIGHT FOR WEEKS UNTIL THE Orange Revolution's DEMANDS WERE MET.
The MSM and the government FAILED COMPLETELY BECAUSE BOTH INSTITUTIONS HAD LOST ALL CREDIBILITY = The Ukrainian public at large no longer trusted anything coming out of their collective mouths.
1) The citizens of Ukraine knew their corrupt government, in conjunction with its "Main Stream Media" had stolen the election via mass voter fraud and that they were boldly perpetuating the lie that Yanokvich had won.
2) The Ukrainians didn't believe anything they were being told about the election results or the Orange Revolution. They no longer trusted the MSM, their corrupt government because both had lost all credibility.
3) The citizens of Ukraine believed the evidence of their own eyes: The Orange Revolution; its protesters, its demands and the overwhelming support of populace was real. They were genuine, massive, growing, peaceful AND, MOST IMPORTANTLY THE PROTESTERS WERE COMMITTED TO CONTINUING THEIR PROTESTS UNTIL THEIR DEMANDS WERE MET. It was an unstoppable, ever-expanding "movement".
Eventually, the MSM HAD TO TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT WHAT WAS GOING ON, THEY LITERALLY HAD NO OTHER OPTION because things got so bad: government, daily life, EVERYTHING either shut down or was directly impacted by the Orange Revolution and everyone knew it, they had no alternative but to tell the truth because otherwise they would have become a laughing stock.
Once the MSM finally began to accurately report what had been and was taking place: i.e., the corrupt Ukrainian government, the fraudulent election results, the mass scale of the Orange Revolution composed of honest, patriotic Ukrainians protestors who wanted an end to the corruption and free and fair elections, their whole "house of cards" collapsed.
The similarities between what took place in the Ukraine and what is happening here in the USA this election are almost identical. And I stand by my original premise that the peaceful protests of the Orange Revolution, held on a mass scale throughout America could succeed in overturning the fraudulent results here as well, should Hillary Clinton and the DNC, in collusion with the government and MSM try and steal this election through mass voter fraud.
God bless you! I’m sure many people will have questions.
A first hand account of real history.
Our very own Jmouse007 had lived through a stolen election in the Ukraine.
“Once the MSM finally began to accurately report what had been and was taking place: i.e., the corrupt Ukrainian government, the fraudulent election results ...”
What kind of media transformation was it? Partial? Piecemeil?
Really good stuff Arthur! Way to go!Reminds me of how the Tea Party was formed. The fact that we are not marching all over the country protesting the criminals in office is sad to see.
Thanks you so much for sharing your experience. Other than protests, what other actions did the orange revolution take?
We could lose some states due to illegals voting. Protesting by valid citizen voters may be the only way we can reverse this if Trump is declared a loser because of this. Legal and legislative attempts have been shot down.
You could be right. In Ann Coulters’s book she references 30-35 million illegals. I have always thought the number was right in there maybe even as many as 40 mill. Visa overstays are almost uncountable these days with little enforcement.
Rusty meant to post this to you:
“Thanks you so much for sharing your experience. Other than protests, what other actions did the orange revolution take?”
I am not convinced that the US media will cave the same way. Hoping for more insight into that.
I had read elsewhere that after the election the media allowed sociologists to dispute on air the validity of the vote count. If true, that might have been part of their ‘caving’ to the truth.
I could imagine that some in the media are less corrupt than many of the senior members. We’ll just have to wait and see if it gets that bad.
If you lived through the 1960 election or ANY Illinois election you know what a stolen election looks like
This was an entire sovereign government — very different.
Just got a private message. His profile is loaded with more info, and more will be posted here.
FRegards ....
Peaceful protests were held for days outside of their offices and as a result many of the governors and politicians were successfully shamed into resigning their positions in disgrace. Others, who refused to resign were successfully voted out of office during the next election cycle.
2) After the nullification of the results and the true president took office the leaders and people of the Orange Revolution strongly sought to hold President Yushchenko accountable to keep his pledged promises to rid the Ukrainian government of its corruption.
Unfortunately, they were less successful on accomplishing this goal for several reasons; a number of which were not President Yushenk's fault.
a) Unbeknownst to the Ukrainian population at large, the Kremlin's attempt to kill Yushchenko via poisoning him with a lethal dose of TCCD, the most potent Dioxin found in Agent Orange had left President Yushchenko seriously/deathly ill. So much so that during his term as president he secretly underwent 27 seperate operations.
President Yushchenko was able to keep these operations a secret by leaving work early on Thursday, undergoing the operation on Thursday or Friday, convalescing Saturday and Sunday and returning to work on Monday. The seriousness of his injuries and the secret operations and treatment he underwent to save his life have only recently become public knowledge.
This had a direct effect on his stamina and ability to accomplish all that he intended.
b) Before President Yushchenko was sworn in, the corrupt acting president Kuchma had his cronies, who held a majority of seats in the Rada pass a law which stripped the president of much of his power. *Note: These same people in the Rada had previously voted to give President Kuchma these added executive powers in the first place in order to personally enrich themselves.
c) Under the terms agreed upon by Yushchenko in order to overturn the election and to hold new free and fair elections Yushchenko was forced to accept his presidential rival the corrupt Russian mafia felon Yanokovich as Prime Minister (the second most powerful position in the government). Yanokovich d) Corruption within the Ukraine government was rife, entrenched and endemic. Dispute his best of intentions President Yushchenko was unsuccessful in ultimately accomplishing this goal. However, he did succeed in cleaning up the corrupt police department by removing a massive number of corrupt policemen throughout the Ukraine.
And it still is
If it can work in a formerly communist country, it can work here.
Social media can provide accurate information since the MSM cannot and will not any longer be trusted.
Thanks.
Even legal immigrants vote and they’re not supposed to. One legal immigrant, married to a citizen, has already been caught voting five times already, I think here in Texas.
Yeah for sure but you gotta admit its very difficult to trust any of them in today’s world.
These guys need to be thrown under the jail,an example needs to be set so the rest will think twice.
