Dammit. This whole World Series the Tribe’s baserunning and defense has been un-Tribe like.
I am for the Cubs, but even though off topic, I’d like to ask Clevelanders what they think of this news bit I heard about. It would seem that in several places in Cleveland, Trump poll watchers have been told to stay away from the polling place because ‘no one here will be voting for Trump anyway’. Not kidding. Have any Clevelanders heard about this?
Schwarber should have known better.
I wouldn’t doubt it at all.
If he was full strength he would’ve made it. It looked like a double.
1-1
The first base coach should have stopped him.
The good news is that he will probably get another 2 hits.
Cubs infield defense has been a little shaky so far.
And this is certainly safe.
Cleveland has been remarkably consistent this season.
Bad break for the Cubs, ball hits the lip and everybody looks safe.
CURSE.
That last call by the ump at 2B was horrible. Baez didn’t control that ball even for a split second.
Oh good, they overturned it.
Call overturned. Everybody safe.
How in the world did the umpire call him out? Thank goodness there is replay.
Baez has hurt the Cubs a lot.
The Tribe will come through tonight...and Ohio will come through next Tuesday.
I think everybody in Illinois just let out a sigh of relief.
I like the way you think.
No kidding! So did I!!
Cubs luck out and we are all tied, Hendricks out after next inning, Kluber is on borrowed time, he is not as good as he has pitched so far.
