Huma Abedin: "I have no idea how the emails got on Weiner's computer"
Zero Hedge ^ | Oct. 31, 2016 | Tyler Durden

With the FBI having obtained a warrant to begin poring over the 650,000 reported emails found on Anthony Weiner's computer, attention shifts to just what the FBI may find, with Democrats alleging that much of the thousands of emails allegedly sent from Huma Abedin's computer are duplicates or otherwise innocuous, while critics alleging more deleted and/or confidential emails may emerge. On her, behalf, however, long-time Hillary aide Huma Abedin has told the FBI she was not aware any of her emails were on the laptop investigators seized as part of its probe info Anthony Weiner's investigation.

According to Politico, the FBI engaged in a back and forth over the weekend with Abedin or her attorney, when Abedin explained the situation.

"She says she didn't know they were there," a source familiar with the investigation said. This is a sensitive topic for Abedin and the Clinton campaign, because on previous occasions, Huma - under oath - disclosed that all the emails in her possession had been accounted for and handed over to the FBI.

As CNBC adds,"there are a number of scenarios that would explain how the emails got onto the laptop without Abedin's knowledge, including that they were somehow automatically backed up from the cloud. But investigators will want to know how this happened and if there is any indication that Abedin misled them about the existence of emails.

A couple of theories:

Weiner knew his wife’s email password. He’s so addicted to politics that he checks his wife’s email regularly so he can feel like he’s part of the game. If it’s her Yahoo email address that we’ve heard about, he must have set up an email program (like Outlook) with POP or IMAP aso pposed to using a browser.
Weiner’s laptop was the super-secret backup—the lockbox of emails that Hillary and Huma can go back to once they’ve deleted “official” emails and destroyed. And a husband can’t be forced to testify against his wife.

I believe I will with hold judgement till we see the contents of the emails. I would not put it above Clinton of setting this up to shift blame for any secrets released to enemy agents. See she was just trusting and careless while those close to her were taking advantage of her mental state.

I think the original tweet about the “insurance” folder was a joke, not real. A funny one, but still a joke.

Oh yeah, the Hillary yoga emails. The only one I 'd care to see is this one.

Yogic Corpse Pose

Exactly!! No sync/cloud/etc. is going to create a folder name. If it was in a folder named Life Insurance then it is because HUMA herself put them in a folder called Life Insurance. She knew exactly what was in there.

I don’t think I have ever seen a picture of Huma laughing or even smiling. Not even her wedding photo.

Wonder what brand of computer had the 650,000 emails. Are there any Chicom/Ruskie/NSA hidden software programs?

It appears to me that the original tweet about the “life insiurance” folder was a (pretty funny) joke.

Is it true they were in a folder called Insurance. I have seen this referenced but have not seen original reliable source.

I’d be surprised if there are as many as a hundred emails containing the word yoga.

Huma Abedin: "I have no idea how the emails got on Weiner's computer"

My guess would be Huma is probably telling the truth for once. Because if she had known, the emails would have been "bleachbit" like all the others. My guess what happened was several years ago Huma used the particular computer once or twice to check her emails and in the process unknowingly set the default mail program to automatically download and store her emails on regular intervals, which it kept doing long after she had forgotten she had ever used it. I'm also guessing her being Hillary's 2nd in command, all Hillary's emails were being mirrored to Huma's account as well. With ALL meaning even the 33,000 missing "personal" emails that were deleted...

Thinking it through....Assume Huma has no idea how the emails got to the computer she shared with her husband. The logical conclusion is that neither she nor the gov nor any one knows where else the emails might’ve gotten to by the same method.

Most likely, huma, because you set up an email client on that computer, and the client placed the emails on the computer’s hard drive. They generally can be restored by the FBI, even if erased.

If Weiner suspected his wife of treachery, he could very easily put tracking software on her computer that would route copies of her emails to him.

Oh I agree....it may be just some idiot IT guy who synch’ed everything in the house, and Wiener didn’t even know he was holding the ‘ace-of-Trump’.

I would say this...if this is half-a-million emails...it’s a heck of a file.

You beat me to it. 50 bucks get you the software to hijack someone else’s emails. All he would need is a few minutes with her unattended personal laptop.

If someone were smart, they’d already have a thumb drive of everything on that computer. Send it out to every major msm in the country. At this point, what difference does it make if that’s illegal. It’s getting it all out on the table before the DOJ can sanitize it.
