Huma Abedin's lawyers are set to meet with the Justice Department and FBI to discuss the emails found on her sexting husband Anthony Weiner's laptop - two days after the FBI dramatically announced it had reopened the investigation into Hillary's handling of classified material.
Questions are mounting over right-hand woman Abedin's future on the Clinton campaign as she was pictured in New York today at campaign HQ while her boss was in Florida.
She has reportedly pleaded ignorance about how the emails ended up on her husband Weiner's laptop – and were subsequently found by FBI agents after DailyMail.com exposed him sexting a 15-year-old girl.
The scandal leaves the Clinton campaign facing disaster after FBI director James Comey announced their discovery had led him to reopen the investigation into Clinton with 11 days until the election.
The latest ABC News/Washington Post tracking poll taken after Comey's announcement shows Trump is just one point behind Clinton, with 45 percent support to her 46 percent.
Last week, Clinton was up 12 points, meaning that she lost a double-digit lead in a week's time. A third of the likely voters polled said they were less likely to cast a vote for Clinton because of this additional email probe.
Even worse for her situation, Abedin swore under oath while testifying in a lawsuit brought against the State Department by Judicial Watch that she had handed over all of her devices that could hold emails relevant to the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
If she’s found to have lied she could face up to five years in jail.

I care very much if she’s Mata Hari. For the sake of the country, we don’t need muslim spies - or muslims period - in our government. We had communist spies all over the government in the 30s, 40s, and 50s and I’m not anxious to live through a period like that. Trump can only clean up so much.

It’s quite possible all those were addressed to Abedin. I work in IT and receive, at minimum, 2000 emails per week. That’s only from other IT folks supporting our data center.
Abedin is likely copied on everything from A to Z. I can easily see her getting well over 2000 weekly. She likely deletes many without reading them as I do because they’ve nothing to do with my work at hand.
Let’s say she shared that laptop for 3 years. That would average approx. 4000 emails per week. I truly don’t find that out of the question.

In this season every thing has been crazy.
Weiner, IMO, has always seemed tightly wrapped. So many of the photos show him gritting his teeth, facial muscles like walnuts.
His arranged marriage was to have put him in the golden Clinton circle, things were promised and he bought into the fantasy hook, line and sinker. He’s publicly demonstrated his sexual frustration via the twitter pix. Hard to overide those urges and play the role of the faithful beard forever after being shunned by his supposed benefactors and allies.
So it’s not at all far fetched that this is his Götterdämmerung moment.
What I was referring to was your explanation of how someone relatively computer illiterate could have unknowingly downloaded emails to a computer. My point was that while that can occur, how would it end up in a file named “life insurance”? Or is that is just a joke being made?

Assuming that she is really computer illiterate and doesn't know how email clients work, an astonishing number of the emails found on Weiner's computer had state.gov and Clinton email addresses. So Abedin brought home her work with her and did not safeguard it. Intent or no?
650,000 emails is an astonishing amount. Was the Clinton email server used as a "dropbox" like Petraeus and Broadwell set up?
