The Philadelphia 76ers pulled an R&B singer from her scheduled national anthem performance before their game Wednesday night because of a message she had written across her shirt, and the players are reportedly not happy about it.
Sevyn Streeter says the 76ers told her two minutes before she was about to walk onto the floor that she had to change her shirt, which said We Matter across the front.

Let me guess.....she’s BLACK!!
I KNEW she had to be black.
I’d wear a shirt
_____MATTERS
“No lives matter”
- Cthulhu
What’s with the DOG COLLAR???
Does the Dog Pound still exist for the Cleveland Browns? Maybe she is trying to submit subliminal messages to sing the anthem there. /sarc.
Thank you 76ers!!!
OUTSTANDING!!!
Submissive muzzy female?
Never heard of her.
What’s wrong with “we matter”
We do, don’t we?
She’s a cutie.
But that shirt says Rettem Ew.
Rettam Ew
Decision by 76er’s management.......finally someone with gonads.
Baseball rating up 30% this year over last.
NFL down 24% and dropping.
Basketball. Don’t know but I can guess the rating are down and keep doing so until someone dunks these millionaire protesters.
Did she refuse to change her shirt...?
Too bad our culture has gotten so hyper sensitive...because of the BLM SJW morons...
“We Matter” doesn’t strike me as being too far out there...
A few years ago, nobody would have thought twice about it...
Lol, dog collar for dog, makes sense to me.
Black activists that are unhappy with America should move to equatorial Africa!
She had a chance to change her shirt at management request. She chose to keep arguing instead.
“Fine, keep on arguing. Play the Diva. Meanwhile, we have someone else to do the singing, someone not trying to further any private agenda on our company time. Oh, and we don’t own you any apology. On the contrary, you owe us an apology for putting up needless obstacles to our audience enjoying their time at the game.
Have fun at you next BLM meeting!”
Maybe my reasoning is off, but if someone is asked or given the opportunity to sing our national anthem, that is all the person accepting the offer should be using that time for.
Not promoting anything else. It’s not about them and their thoughts or agenda - it’s about singing the song the best they can to honor our country and get off the stage.
Hold their “promotional event” another pace and time.
