Has anyone seen that stupid meme going around stating that 87 Ambassadors died under President George Bush so there shouldn't be a problem with Hillary and the 4 Benghazi deaths??
Would love to refute but am afraid to do a leftist Google as all the reference material would probably come from Salon.com or Yahoo Nooz
Sounds like complete BS.
I haven’t seen it. But it is absurd.
It IS a lie/a complete and utter fabrication!
I wonder how many former ambassadors died of old age/natural causes during his tenure? Hey, the don’t even need to be American.
fake book
DURING BUSH ADMINISTRATION 13 Embassy attacks 66 deaths 3 American diplomats killed...
Yeah, it was like one or two for each of the 57 states...
Knowing it’s more Democrat Bullscoot. Somebody has distorted a distorted Democrat distortion of the truth.
Probably sourced the Garamandi response to the Republican investigation of the Benghazi debacle. It was typical Democrat BS, so why not figure some other Democrat made up another story based on that made up story.
According to Wikipedia eight ambassadors have been killed in the line of duty.
It's patently ridiculous; of course.
They’ve been saying that in one form or another ... it’s BS and intellectually dishonest.
None of the deaths were ambassadors, and none of the attacks were conducted after additional security was requested and rejected by the Secretary of State.
None died as the result of a terrorist attack on a US embassy
Challenge them to name them
There’s a bunch of misinformation, from distortions to outright lies, in that meme.
But the main difference between Bush and Obama/Hillary on the subject is:
- The latter COULD have done something about the attack but DIDN’T, and
- The latter LIED about what happened, a ridiculous yet coordinated story.
Those deaths (if the meme is accurate) seem most directly to be attributable to Islam.
Does the State Dept have a memorial page?
I used to drive an old American Motors Ambassador. It died, but I can’t remember under whose administration. Seems like Jimmy Carter, but maybe it was Gerald Ford.
Goes along with those 100,000 civilians we killed in Iraq last time.
