He may not be sending a curse at all. It may be all by design for reasons that relate as much to health as the sin.
Agreed.
Plus I didn’t know Christians were supposed to be thrilled when people suffered or died.
My silly catholic mother actually cared for AIDS victims when it was REALLY bad. Volunteered.
She should have been home chortling, i guess /s
but, human biology is what it is...its marvelous, except when its not...
penis into anus is not natural....
its a totally destructive act because it destroys the tissues, which are not made for such abuse...and when it destroys the tissues, any germ has a way into the blood stream...
and the other part of the equation is so many gay men are promiscuous, that those germs get spread....
these homos are supposed to be so smart yet they are completely blind to the dangers of homosexuality...
As with all people who have a moral choice, a range of consequences has been presented.
It’s curious how many of these plagues have arrived, which is by foreigners that have been carelessly and negligently let into the country.
God gladly will forgive these sinners too, but won’t excuse. If they want to see blessing, they must stop. However, even being able to stop depends on leaning on the seemingly paradoxical kindness of the Lord. It’s almost a perfect game. “I know I’m a sinner, so I’ll just go right ahead and punish myself, then somehow God will be happy.” Well it turns out God isn’t happy with that, though the devil is. To refuse the overflowing, endless benefit of the Cross causes God more reason for anger than having sinned in the first place. That’s why the bible talks about a single unforgivable sin.
Since tone of voice does not come across through the written word, things like God’s warnings to us can come across as cursing.
Now, God does certain curse some things and states so, but other times, like when God told Adam that in the day he ate of the tree, that he would die, it could be taken either as a severe warning, a threat, a curse, or a warning. A lot depends on the concept you have of God, whether a loving heavenly Father, or as stern harsh judge and task master.
He gave us restrictions to protect us.
Re : Post #3 ~
*God isnt doing this to anybody. People are doing it to themselves.*
Agreed.
I don’t think God is working overtime in a lab, inventing diseases that He can gleefully give to punish sinners. When people abuse their bodies with unnatural behavior, things God never intended or designed, of course they will invite all sorts of diseases and injuries.
It is my contention that God’s judgments against sin are most often expressed in natural and logical consequences.
Normally, God acts normally.
And this goes along strongly with a Natural Law analysis. God’s Eternal Law isn’t just arbitrarily imposed on us “from the skies” so to speak, nor is it just written in “some book”. No, He has inscribed it in the very nature of reality.
It’s written in our blood and bones.
