And you might think that a prescription pill will cure these? Think again. Health officials are now warning about the “super gonorrhea” (forget the old gonorrhea) and super chlamydia, resistant to all known antibiotics. The reports also reveal that 93% of HIV-positive gay and bisexual men have anal HPV infections.
Now think about this for a moment. If just released reports show a 20 million increase in STD each year and a half in the U.S. alone and that we are in a 20 year high, if this continues, in a decade, this might multiply to 200 million infected. We have become a society filled with sexual infections:
“The federal health agency found young people and gay and bisexual men continued to face the greatest risk of becoming infected with STD.”
“We have reached a decisive moment for the nation,” said Dr. Jonathan Mermin, director of CDC’s National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention in a news release. “STD rates are rising, and many of the country’s systems for preventing STDs have eroded …”
“The 2015 data should American 15 to 24 years old accounted for nearly two-thirds of chlamydia diagnoses, and half of the gonorrhea cases. Gay and bisexual men accounted for the majority of gonorrhea cases, and 82 percent of syphilis cases. The health agency also said antibiotic-resistant gonorrhea may be higher among men who had sex with men.”
Do you see “82 percent of syphilis cases” are amongst “gay and bisexual men”?

Let me fill you in on a sad secret.
Infections are viewed from within those pits as a feature, not a bug.

Since tone of voice does not come across through the written word, things like God’s warnings to us can come across as cursing.
Now, God does certain curse some things and states so, but other times, like when God told Adam that in the day he ate of the tree, that he would die, it could be taken either as a severe warning, a threat, a curse, or a warning. A lot depends on the concept you have of God, whether a loving heavenly Father, or as stern harsh judge and task master.
He gave us restrictions to protect us.

Lets not blame God for incurable bugs.
He has a time set aside to punish those that deserve it, but presently his judgements are reserved for “Nations,” according to his word.

They are bad.
That’s the penalty for their sin.
Well, only part of it.
I don’t think God is working overtime in a lab, inventing diseases that He can gleefully give to punish sinners. When people abuse their bodies with unnatural behavior, things God never intended or designed, of course they will invite all sorts of diseases and injuries.

Mice lack the capacity to sin, so theirs is an indirect hazard.
I’ve heard as well, that semen contains substances that suppress the immune system. That is thought to be the reason for such a high prevalence of these kinds of diseases.

Are you trying to equate sodomy with drinking/smoking?
... but the free gift of God is salvation in Christ Jesus.
The big problem here is our own literally (this is not gratuitous cussing) God-damned PRIDES.
We think we need to deliver ourselves. But this is impossible cubed.
There’s a spiritual trap going on with these folks. They know in their hearts it’s evil. They crave the evil. They do not know how deep the kindness of the Lord will stoop to help, or if they do, they don’t want it to or are too ashamed to ask. Salvation is very embarrassing to their prides.
But salvation is embarrassing to our prides too.
By all means the Christian ministry which will star here is the one that will get these people past these traps.
All this patting of yourself on the back about your “knowledgeability” (often irrelevant) gets rather tiring.

Biblically, we know God warns against sex outside of marriage.
Scientifically, we know indiscriminately swapping body fluids is a very unhealthy lifestyle, particularly certain types of sex acts.
We shouldn’t celebrate people having to pay the consequences of such behavior, however it seems to me we should criticize those people and organizations who fail to warn abour, encourage, and reward such behaviors.

Jesus did not die on the Cross to give you proud things to say about other people.
Though I must confess to the glory of righteousness, a good snooze might be more edifying than anything else you have to say.
