will if fix the horrible battery life that changed with the last software release. It cut the battery life in half and I lose 20% per hour. Apple store wanted me to do a complete wipe of the phone but I was concerned about having to restore it and to get all my data back after erasing it.

Has anybody noticed a problem with battery life after the last software update. My battery goes down 20% per hour and its a serious problem. Does this new update address Battery life?
I went to an apple store and they wanted me to reset my phone going back to original settings but I didn’t allow them do that as I didn’t have my backup complete.
What is the best way to delete and restore if I decided to go forward.
