We can all agree its basically a dream situation to be rescued by a baby elephant, especially if you didnt really need rescuing in the first place.
Instead, you just end up being assured a baby elephant loves you and wants you to be okay.
The Save Elephant Foundation in Chiang Mai, Thailand captured little Kham Lha racing to the aid of Darrick Thomson, the co-founder of the foundation and one of her favorite people ever.
Thomson was calling out to her on the shore, and she interpreted his calls as distress cries (he was totally fine, though).
Kham Lha charged through the water, sheltering him with her body and offering her trunk for him to hold on to.

The staff told CNN Thomson helped rescue Kham La and her mother, Bai Teoy, in 2015.
Since he rescued Kham La, he spent time to heal her from the mental [anguish] and has shown love to her, the staff said. Its not long after that, she [made a] strong bond with him and accepted him to be part of her herd.

Have I ever told you how Frank Sinatra once saved my life
“He’s had enough boys.”
Animals never cease to amaze.
I noticed it was a CNN video.
I can just hear it. What a cute story.... and in other news we have an exclusive with Bobby Rottenbottom who has come forward to tell CNN that Trump stole his lunch money when they were both in boarding school back in 1961.
The video needs a soundtrack -

Elephants kill 500-1000 people a year
Just sayin
Poachers kill about 35,000 elephants each year. Maybe the elephants are trying to even the score.
For God’s sake!!! Comments like that on an article like this are one reason conservatives get a bad name. Just saying.
All elephants across several continents don't even match half a year in Chicago, wow, that's a pretty docile animal.
