Its being widely reported that Julian Assange of Wikileaks is dead. While early reports of his death were debunked as false, shortly thereafter, the Wikileaks official Twitter account released a series of very mysterious and cryptic tweets, which according to cyber experts, is a kill switch.

More about the hash...
SHA-256 operates in the manner of MD4, MD5, and SHA-1: The message to be hashed is fi rst
(1) padded with its length in such a way that the result is a multiple of 512 bits long, and then
(2) parsed into 512-bit message blocks M(1) ; M(2) ;...;M(N).
The message blocks are processed one at a time: Beginning with a fixed initial hash value H(0) , sequentially compute
H(i) = H(i1) + CM(i) (H(i1));
where C is the SHA-256 compression function and + means word-wise mod 2^32 addition. H(N) is the hash of M.
The SHA-256 compression function operates on a 512-bit message block and a 256-bit intermediate hash value. It is essentially a 256-bit block cipher algorithm which encrypts the intermediate hash value using the message block as key. Hence there are two main components to describe: (1) the SHA-256 compression function, and (2) the SHA-256 message schedule.
Anything else you want to know?
On Bizzaro World?
You’re welcome, I just try to look at it logically, tune out the blithering of the uninformed masses, and try to put myself in his shoes. I know what I would do...
@wikileaks 1 minute ago Julian Assange's internet link has been intentionally severed by a state party. We have activated the appropriate contingency plans.
There is no way that any of the Wikileaks data are actually physically in the embassy.
If Hillary has Assange murdered, Trump can talk about nothing else during the debate—no matter what questions are asked.
No actual news outlet is reporting this

Why would they?
I would imagine that he has something in place to do a huge data dump if anything happens to him. Arkanicide might very well backfire....
Because as bad as the Brit press is they would indeed cover an embassy storming. The internet interruption is being covered. The rest is hysteria
Correct. I was referring to the American MSM.
But my comment about it being covered or not was about all press including Brits Germans French and even Russian.
Do you really think RT would let this go unnoticed?
It's not a hash marking. Just a hash.
A file (or any linear set of data) is run through a mathematical algorithm, to produce a single value (usually 64 bits).
If you make any change to the file, the resulting hash changes. So, as long as the hash is the same as the published value, you know the file hasn't been changed.

Maybe he put on a blonde wig and D cup falsies and walked out the front door the other day.
If a program could be written to scan newspapers for obituaries or 'missing person' it could also stop the incentive for kidnapping and torture. Thanks to all for explaining 'hash'... comforting that freepers understand. Fighting the machine's going to get harder - - we'll need our best minds for the battles ahead.
Breathing a sigh of relief after Paleo Pete weighed in.
Thank God for Paleo Pete.....bless you, guy.
