Anyone having internet outage issues in South Central Texas area?
You said nuts.
I'm telling.
Internet problem?
With no fence did they put up a net? Get full of ‘varmints’?
Say again.... you’re breaking up.
Call Vlad
Working good here central texas today. Yesterday it was slow as hell.
you could try to change your DNS addressing - to
8.8.8.8
and see if that helps..
generic rather than ISP specific..
also, recently,
My comcast speedtest reduced to .33MPS and when I called, they “re-registered” my modem and I was instantly returned to 75MPS..
Doing fine in Waco...Grande Cable provider.
Unplug your cable modem, router, reboot computer, replug modem and router.
“Ebay dead”
“Craigslist dead.”
both are fine here in Central Texas.
There were some problems here in North Carolina on Thursday and Friday, scattered though. My connection through Time-Warner was up and down all day on Thursday. A customer in western NC had the same issue on Friday, but they use Charter Communications. FR has been unusually slow for at least a week, independent of any ISP issue.
I have had some glitches with my Cox cable connection recently.
Then, I noticed a couple of days ago that they had upped the data using amounts for all of their Internet levels to 1TB and for their fiber service 2TB.
That is a massive change. About a year ago, they upped my mid-level from 250Gb to 350Gb. Then, about 4 months ago, I noticed that my usage had exceeded the monthly allocations a couple of months. I was basically watching the same streams on the same equipment, and my usage was typically in the 80Gb range per month.
With the new 4k streaming/TVs, they needed to up the data usage levels. Of course, that likely means an increase in the Internet fees soon.
East Texas, Lufkin, Nacogdoches area, doing fine here today, a little slow now and then. The night of the debate it was really slow, almost dial up slow, FR wouldn’t open at all a couple of nights ago, everything else worked fine.
I’ve been wondering what’s going on, the past 3 or 4 days sometimes it’s really slow. Try to post or go to a different thread it will sit there 30 seconds before doing a thing. Then it runs fine for a while then slow again. But no compete outage, except when electricity went out, that happens almost every time it rains around here.
Last 24-36 hours in cental Texas btwn waco and dfw service has been atrocious.
We were attempting to make hotel reservations last evening. Had to resort (yikes) to phone calls! What IS the world coming to? LOL
Sounds like we are miles apart in central Texas, but what you describe fits our area starting last Thurs evening.
NSA getting overloaded.
No problems here. (S.A.) (U-verse)
So am I, but FR seems to be slower.
Free Republic working great. Almost all other sites dead. So strange.
Fine in San Antonio
