2008: Fred Thompson dropped out a week after you all but endorsed him; you found Romney accpetable and said we must vote for Romney, he still lost; McCain got in but you supported him in the general and he lost.
2012: Michelle Bachman and Rick Santorum could not beat Obama. Romney could not beat Obama and lost again.
2016: Ted Cruz and all of the other Republicans would have been chewed up and spit out by this time.

Can you tell from the context of remarks there, if Levin was actually referring to Free Republic? Could he have possibly been referring to some other online forum or website?

Fool. We listened daily—some of us more than once daily, we bought his books....However, his rankings and web traffic numbers would indicate that we are not the only ones who no longer listen or go to his site. I rarely go to his thread here—just don’t think about his show any more...I am here because I was pinged.
His real problem is that he does not have the courage to come here and debate the issues with us...He just gossips and slanders “We the People” everyday Freepers on Facebook.
