Exactly. For a while it looked like Ryan/Romney/Bush have allied with Cruz, but it was only to take out Trump. Cruz has no allies at all. The sad thing is, his only ally was Trump but he betrayed him. Somehow someone got to Cruz and divided the trump/cruz camp. Establishment remain united as ever

Yep. Did you see the list? Lee, Huntsman, Romney, Love, plus UT Gov. I have said for years for Mormons loyalty is to the cult first and other LDS - long before us ‘gentiles’ and it is showing here. They are hoping that Trump loses so McMullin will have a shot next cycle.

I’m going with Romney or Bush, very likely both working together. As someone said, McCain is nothing more than a useful idiot.. Ryan is a follower. Only Romney and Bush have the money and power to push the rest of them around. Romney married into it and is worth around $190 million nowadays. Most of them can’t top 10% of that so he’s a big dog to them. Don’t know what Bush clan is worth, but with a couple of former presidents, they have a lot of clout, money aside.
I originally thought for sure Hillary was behind it, but later reports seem to indicate an inside job. Romney and Bush are the two obvious ones. Billy Bush is one of the clan, they both hate Trump, Romney has been trying to torpedo his campaign for a long time. And Ryan is Romney’s boy...funny though, 4 years ago Romney talked like Trump was the greatest thing since peanut butter when he wanted his money and endorsement...two faced dirt bag...

It is really important. As much as they downplayed the White Horse prophecy with Romney publicly, it came up again this time with Cruz. LDS are losing a lot of members, esp here in the US. Major losses - some count up to almost 250k active members (still on rolls but do not attend or pay tithing) per year. How does this fit with all of this and a Mormon in the white house?
Mormons need to be able to say it was a ‘true’ prophecy and thus ‘prove’ Smith was a prophet. Also, their theology is closely tied to political control of the US and ideally a one world government - this mostly stems from Joseph Smith running for POTUS in 1844. I am currently working on a book on the topic.
McMullin is new on the scene, and clean. He is running independent this time, and has a lot of support among the rank and file LDS, so it would be easy to have him run as a ‘non politician’ in 2020 if Trump loses. If Trump wins, not only will there be someone the LDS can’t control in the WH, but it will be harder to get someone in in 2024.

I found it quite interesting in that Trump mentioned Soros and Buffett at the debate..... twice. Maybe I'm just in conspiracy mode... but I think DT knows something and is holding his cards close to the chest... for now.

Guessing its the same person that ordered McStain to shut up Palin when his numbers started going up after he picked her for Veep.... She is the ONLY reason I cast a vote for president.
The party has been infested by liberals for so long now that 'restoring' it is beyond human capacity. The best thing to do now is to just burn it to ashes and build our own. No quislings allowed.
