Fellow Freepers, I need some encouragement about the 2016 Presidential Election. I've got the same sinking feeling that I had before Obama's 2 elections. I've stated before that Trump was not my 1st choice for the Republican nomination. But he won and I wholeheartedly endorse his campaign. All major media outlets (including Fox) has actively come out against him. A 12 yr old "hot mike" slang conversation is being used to destroy him. Paul Ryan and a host of other establishment Republicans are working to elect Hillary Clinton. Even after a brave and domineering debate performance the talking heads like Rove put him almost double digit down to one of the most corrupt individuals in American History. Americans seem content to pack the Supreme Court with people who don't believe in law. They are about to elect a President who set the Mideast aflame. She believes Christians only have the right to espouse their beliefs in a Church. SisterK and Stars and Stripes have faithfully that America wakes up before we leap into this precipice of moral extinction. I've said all this to say that I need encouragement. My fellow Christians say that I should not fret because God is in control. But I still worry about the pain that is about to reign down upon our beloved America. I know Donald Trump is flawed like all of us but he really believes in fighting for the neglected people in our country. Please give me some perspective on the next 20 some days ti the election. Thank all of you Freepers for the island of freedom you have carved out.
It’s in Gods hands.

Having a MENTAL BREAKDOWN?
Get a spine!
VOTE TRUMP all we can do IS VOTE TRUMP!!! The media is REALLY BAD this election cycle, REMEMBER BREXIT!!!! BREXIT POLLS 75% stay before the vote BUT the PEOPLE said NO !!!! BREXIT also had a huge mountain to climb with one of the STAY politicians being shot !!! They thought FOR SURE the sympathy vote of STAY would prevail BUT the PEOPLE VOTED NO!!!!
Do you believe that God is involved in the affairs of men? In this election? I do, so take heart and run the race with us to its conclusion.
First, I am completely convinced that Trump is winning, and winning big.
I don’t base this on hopes, but I sure don’t base it on polls. I look at the voter registration changes in various states -—all in the R direction-—the incredible fall off in D absentees in IA (down net 37,600 from 2012, or right in line with 2014 when Ernst had an 8-point win); the R advantages in ballots requested and voted in FL (42-39% requested, but 46-32% returned!); the shocking D losses in Cuyahoga Co. OH (Ds down/Rs up net 97,000 in a county the Ds HAVE to win by 170,000 votes!!!) . . .
then I look at the manipulation of polls (none of them look like the numbers I’ve given above) where they are using D+5-10 samples-—last night’s CNN debate poll used an unbelievable +25 to get Cankles up. . . .
This all tells me, along with some info I get from Team Trump itself at high levels that Trump is doing very well. I personally think he had the electoral college last week and that was what prompted the “premature ejaculation” of the TrumpTape.
But, if you wanna listen to the horrible propaganda that comes from the media or believe phony polls, have at it.
'Manxiety' is a rising problem and blokes are failing to talk about their emotions

It’s tough for sure. The thought of that woman being president of our nation scares the hell out of me as well.
I am getting busy getting to work. Reminding everyone that talks a good Trump game to make sure they get to the polls. None of our words count as much as our votes do. I am telling everyone who is borderline on their choice that Hillary has done nothing of consequence in her 30 years of public life other than slop at the trough.
I tell them Trump might be a bit rough and callous, but he gets things done.
I am polite in conversations with those who disagree or talk smack about Trump. I just move on. A pissed off anti Trump person is more likely to get out and vote if they’re mad at him or his supporters. If they remain calm, who knows, maybe they aren’t too concerned and they stay home come election day.
Stay away from news sources other than FOX and Drudge. Your eyes and ears will bleed. LOL. Be careful though at FOX around the 9-10pm slot. Stay here amongst the mostly sane folks.
Really wish there was a way to ease the anxiety that is building up in many of us.
Going to be a rough and tumble 4 weeks.
I know people only want to think positively, but I feel the same way. You look at all the forces arrayed against us, it’s going to be a Herculean task to pull this off.
Our electorate is getting dumber and less informed through wave third world immigration and school indoctrination from 60’s era radicals. Our media resembles something out of a communist state. Our party leaders are so petrified of their own shadows that they run from every fight and will risk nothing in order to protect their jobs.
I hope Trump wins or we’re out of options because this will probably be the last chance to salvage something of a civil society.
Hillary Clinton is a lying, thieving, bullying, cheating, traitorous, insane, dirty little snot who flunked her bar exam and locks up like a clothes store dummy.
I think back to October 1992 and 1996 when just listening to Rush convinced me the case was made against WJC.
Actually out of 86 posts I’ve only got 2 that were supportive. But in a strange way I am encouraged by the ferocity of responses. I guess Free Republic is not a proper forum for conjecture.
I might advise putting on some Glen Miller music or something like that...get away from the internet and all media (except for above mentioned Miller) for a few hours....Works wonders. The fight continues but sometimes we all need a little time in the rear to get ourselves situated.
Will Trump win? I couldn’t tell you one way or another right now. I do know that he is swinging and punching as hard as he can trying to deliver voters to his side. It’s dicey for all of us and anyone who says they aren’t afraid...well, they just ain’t human...
It’s a dirty nasty business this politics and there is more to come. But for now...turn off the computer after reading this...make a cup of coffee or whatever beverage you prefer...Put a nice album on the stereo and sit back and flip through a fishing or hunting magazine (non political) Come back in a few hours and lets continue on with the fight...

Thanks in advance.
If you are discouraged the full court press of Clinton’s media has worked on you. What we’re seeing is desperation on the part of the Clintonistas. Recognize it for what it is. The hypocrisy of the Democrats and their RINO sympathizers is beyond obvious.
Hillary has major medical, political and ethical issues that are known and being discussed. The only thing surprising me is the low regard liberal friends have for Hillary and that they will be voting for Trump.
When you see a Black man show up at a Hillary rally wearing a Bill Clinton rape shirt, union members ignoring their leadership and miners lined up on a sidewalk flipping Hillary the bird, it’s a sign she’s a zombie candidate.
The silent majority won’t stay home like they did when Romney ran. That is scaring the crap out of the Democrats because they’re seeing their Armageddon in their internal poling. That’s confirmed by the desperation we’re seeing.
Ever heard the phrase: when you're in a hole, quit diggin' ?
Ok... I wasn’t flaming you at all.... but I feel your concern.
You were one of those bullshit Cruz guys, right?
The question should be: How should President Trump deal with the turncoat RINOs once he takes office?
This includes ones who (conveniently and) publicly apologize after Trump wins the election, and those who don’t. Should there be some sort of “penance”?
Should the state GOP parties start looking for replacements in the future primary elections involving turncoat RINOs?
In Nebraska, turncoat Senator Ben Sasse was an up-and-coming politician, considered by some on a fasttrack for a presidential bid in next decade, at least until he was rebuked by the Nebraska GOP convention, 400-8. Should he be told that a presidential bid will no longer be an option in the GOP?
What penalty could the Republican party impose? Should Reince Priebus remain as RNC Chairman? Should he be replaced or at least be required to change his name?
The alternative is not that Cankles would be president.
The alternative to a Trump election is the reality that we have absolutely no control whatsoever over our political system, that voting is meaningless, and that we are moving to Third World revolutionary status.
