The media has a lot to do with making this an issue. They do not make Hillary’s character an issue at all. It is always the Conservatives who they attack - in shame and disgust. So we feel shame and disgust.

Exactly. I do not care what Trump said, but Hillary’s action led, among others, to the killing of four innocent Americans and other deaths and destruction, including exposing classified information.
In our culture music, tv, video games and movies are much worse than this and lauded.
