HANCOCK COUNTY The former Long Beach police officer who left her daughter in a patrol car for four hours while she was visiting with her shift supervisor turned herself into Hancock County authorities Thursday on a manslaughter charge.
Cassie Barker turned herself into Hancock County Sheriffs Office at about 3 p.m. She was accompanied by attorney Donald Rafferty.
Authorities issued a warrant for Barker Thursday on a manslaughter charge. Barkers daughter, Cheyenn Hyer, was found dead in the patrol car on Friday Avenue at a residence on Standard-Dedeaux Road in Kiln.
Barker was visiting with Long Beach officer Clark Ladner. Barker and Ladner were fired on Tuesday night.
“Visiting”
I guess that’s what they call “it” now.
Female Pattern Baldness?
Four hours... gotta give the guy credit for that at least.
but the 10 commandments mean nothing...morality means nothing...everything that makes you feel good is okay...
She was ‘visiting’, and they were doin the Wild Thang!
Sad she blocked all other thoughts out of her head.
The article doesn’t say if he knew the child was still in the car. Even if he didn’t, it still looks bad for them both.
Oh God, why? These people get stupider and stupider as the schools won’t teach common sense or logic. To them, ‘Government is king and master and you will be dependent and subservient to it until you die!’ Instead of making kids smarter, they are programmed to obey only their government-appointed masters.
Let me guess, he didn’t want to raise another man’s child.
Four hours? Impressive performance by the guy.
What a horrible story! :(
Sometimes you just can’t say what your thinking.
