Oh yeah! “Fighting for our rights in her satin tights!”
A fake organization honors a fake character.
Will she wear a burka?
Dang, this is some serious stuff right here. I don’t know whether to stand and bow my head or just blubber like a baby at the gravity of this event.
Lynda is still looking great. She remains THE go-to Wonder Woman. Any new Wonder Woman will have to publicly declare what sexuality she’ll be portraying. Each gender (other than hetro) has it’s own loud lobby and group of lawyers.
Well, that should certainly address most of the issues confronting the world’s population.
Wonder how much that’s costing us. What a worthless outfit that is.
The same bunch that Obama wants to take away our guns, and manage the Internet, honoring a comic book character?
We have slipped into another dimension, Bizarro World.
I question the timing- didn’t the author come out recently and claim that Wonder Woman was a lesbian, of course? (Or had lesbian experiences on her “amazonian” island?)
Never trust the UN for any reason at all. The New York Times is more honorable, for Pete’s sake.
Greg Rucka, one of the writers of DC Comics newly launched Wonder Woman: Rebirth series, says the heroine is a lesbian.
Clearly, there have been many, many theories through the years surrounding the the worlds most popular female superhero, her Amazonian roots, and her sexuality. Now, Rucka is confirming that that Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman, has had sexual and romantic relationships with women.
Its supposed to be paradise, Rucka told Comicosity.com of Wonder Womans secluded Amazon island home. Youre supposed to be able to live happily. Youre supposed to be able in a context where one can live happily, and part of what an individual needs for that happiness is to have a partner to have a fulfilling, romantic and sexual relationship. And the only options are women.
Of course, its not as cut and dry as simply calling Wonder Woman a lesbian, the writer explained. While on the island, we would call her a lesbian, but they wouldnt categorize it as so. He prefers to refer to the character as queer.
An Amazon doesnt look at another Amazon and say, Youre gay. They dont. The concept doesnt exist, he said. Now, are we saying Diana has been in love and had relationships with other women? As [comic book artist Nicola Scott] and I approach it, the answer is obviously yes.
For this new iteration of Wonder Woman, Rucka strays from previous versions of her story to say that she didnt leave her home because she fell in love with Steve Trevor, Wonder Womans primary love interest.
She doesnt leave because of Steve, Rucka said. She leaves because she wants to see the world and somebody must go and do this thing. And she has resolved it must be her to make this sacrifice.
Though shed be categorized as lesbian thus far in the comics, Rucka doesnt count out a future romantic relationship with Steve Trevor.
This new take on Wonder Womans sexuality drops as DC preps its new Wonder Woman movie franchise for a June 2017 launch.

United Nations Declares Oct. 21 Wonder Woman Day And Lynda Carter Will Be There!
Again the UN tackling the major issues of the day as usual. Wars all over the world, terrorism running rampant and this is what their concerns are. What a great body.
USA out of the UN and the UN out of America is the only answer to this sophistry.
Bobby Jo and the Outlaw is a movie you MUST SEE if you appreciate Lynda’s,...um... assets.
She likes to lasso bad boys with her magic rope.
Television’s famous “Wonder Woman” says she drew inspiration for a new role from Democrat presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.
Lynda Carter’s superhero days from the 1970s may be far behind her, but she will soon portray the U.S. commander in chief on the second season of CW’s “Supergirl.” The actor told Variety that Mrs. Clinton served as a template for the character.
Omfg.
Just shut it down.
I always thought Wonder Woman was just a character on TV
