When you find yourself in danger,
when you’re threatened by a stranger,
when it looks like you will take a lickin’,
Call for Super Chicken....

Dudley Do-Right....

Roger Ramjet...

Tobor, The Eigth Man (WTH happened to 1 thru 7?)

The ORIGINAL Spiderman series from 1967...

and of course, the ULTIMATE BOY’S CARTOON - Jonny Quest.

Quite possibly THE best theme song of all time...

Are you old enough to remember when they showed cartoons before the main feature? It was a bonus when it was a Roadrunner cartoon. Meep! [They only paid June Foray for one meep, then they doubled it up, the cheap bastards!] Har!

They don’t/can’t make that kind of good stuff anymore. No brainpower.

So glad we can find this stuff.

Gives one a break from the daily bullsh*t for a little bit, and lets you remember what it was like to be a kid again, for a while.

The Warner Bros guys locked thmselves in the trailers on the back lot for days and came up with all of those wonderful Merry Melodies and Looney Tunes.

You are correct... nothing today compares.

I liked Angry Beavers, Fairly Odd Parents, and Johnny Bravo when my kids were little; we used to laugh our butts off together. They grew up too fast...

Come to think of it... so did I...

Hand up!! Boris and Natsha; the Professor and Poindexter; Fractured Fairy Tales.

These are seen from the Plato TV channel on Ruku on occasion - not near often enough.

BTW, the Double dome Institute looks more like a domineering matrix bra made of metal. JMHO Could it belong to ILLary?

Thanks so much for the post. Will be saving this for a fix now and again :)

"IT really was a better time, wasn’t it..."

Some shows, like that one, and Warner cartoons get better with age.

“...the Double dome Institute looks more like a domineering matrix bra...”

I think that was the point all along... viewed as an adult, this stuff is even funnier...

Needed a distraction from the crap... this is it.

Any cartoon with Tex Avery is my fave. The guy was a wacked-out genius.

Man of A Thousand Voices... like Lon Chaney, Man of a Thousand Faces.

Another good cartoon voice was Sterling Holloway - the very own voice of Winnie the Pooh, Kaa from “The Jungle book”, and a bunch of other cartoons.
