Clueless iPhone 7 owners have been destroying their new £600-handsets after watching a prank video advising them to drill a hole for their headphones.
Apple's slick new phone comes without a headphone jack, unlike any of its predecessors, as the tech giant encourages its customers to invest in wireless ear pieces.
The cruel but funny tutorial instructs iPhone uses to clamp their precious new mobiles in place before creating their own jack with a 3.5mm drill.

Did you really utter that phrases?
This is a crisis we'd better get a handle on before it's too late -- if it isn't already!
Apple really has become a cult, hasn’t it? Why not GIVE customers what they WANT instead of FORCING something upon them?
The idiot brain dead sheeple just following along regarding the latest/greatest ‘development’ related to their ‘Electronic Pacifiers’.
Stupid is as stupid does.
Funniest article this month.
Speaking of drills, I’ve got a great way to cure constipation...
Total troll job!!!
No way are people drilling their phones.... there are plenty of stupid people in the world, but not THAT stupid (I hope).
You guys let up...Sure, anyone can add a headphone jack to an iPhone!
I operate a welding shop, so I know!
Nothing to it...Just drill the hole and poke the headphone jack in...We also do iPhone glass replacements and batteries and almost whatever else needed for $9.99.
Myself, I use Android-but that is just me.
I really DO love welding, tho...so if you want welding done on your iPhone, text me. (before it is welded).
Thank you for posting that, I’ve been looking for a good how-to about blinker fluid. My local mechanic quoted me a price of $299 for the service! What a ripoff! I would have felt so stupid if I went with that instead of doing it myself!
Speaking of doing it yourself, I’ve been told it’s best to do it in spring, right after the hard winter and before the dog days of summer that can really evaporate the fluid away. Like in April, do it then or be a fool for not changing the blinker fluid regularly!
I’m looking forward to an upcoming video by that guy on replacing muffler bearings. He has a teaser pic, but that shows an open bearing.
I think the problem with those who were unsuccessful in drilling an earphone jack hole is that they bought a Samsung twist drill.
Pack baking soda into the 3.5mm headphone port. Smooth it even with the case. Now drip two drops of Super Glue onto the baking soda. Blow away any excess powder. Enjoy your improved Galaxy 7!
* Note: excess drops of Super Glue may cause your Galaxy 7 to burst into flames. Wear protective goggles and gloves.
Saw where Samsung started pumping the Galaxy 8 within the last 24 hrs:

Always have a Plan B. If nothing else, print new stickers and change the list price.
Ya think?!
Undoubtedly! The difference is subtle between the two bits but important.
That looks like a bunch of praying Muslims!
Looks like he’s got about 8.5 mill views in just a few days. I don’t know how youtube’s monetizing system works, but it was probably worth sacrificing that phone for.
