I know dried chicken urea is available in boxes for use as fertilizer.
They used it on sailing ships for laundry I think into the 1800’s
The dose of nitrogen is strong especially in morning urine and can kill weeds or grass, but it can fertilize also.
And according to healthline.com: The normal range of urine output is 800 to 2,000 milliliters per day if you have a normal fluid intake of about 2 liters per day.
Let's take the average of 1400 ml per day. That's 130 gallons per year. I pay about 0.5 cents per gallon incremental price for water, so I have $0.65 worth of water in my urine per year. Is it worth the effort to figure out how to filter it out and water crops with it? Well, maybe use it to water crops or fight forest fires in California.

I think that wastewater from the Washington DC area should be recycled right to the Capitol building - that would be an excellent start.
You can over-fertilize you know it burns the plants.

The problem with some of the urine is the crap in the food we eat. Garbage in, garbage out applies here as well.
That said, the average adult who eats responsibly most days should be good to spread the liquid gold. Don’t live on twinkies and cheetos and dont keep peein’ in the same square foot of garden. There’s a reason the best watermelons grow over the septic tank.

Long trips are a bummer for those that travel with me though, embarrassing at first, then they seem to get in the spirit and we just pull over anywhere an let er rip .. as long as I ain’t driving, they can do whatever they want, I just tell them what is gonna happen if they don’t pull over.

Yes it does burn plants. Just look where your dog pees. Luxurious growth around the perimeter where it dilutes. Dead in the center.
Can also use it to clean up diesel exhaust. Just pee in the gas tank. :^)
