No one and I mean no one is talking about the smoking gun, the pay-to-play mentioned in these emails, the payoffs with ambassador etc.
They’ve glommed onto Powell because he’s least damaging to Hillary and trashes Trump but he’s the least important. Of course, I’m sure they had a plan in place long before emails were released to push most damaging off news cycle.

Nobody wants to go near the Pay to Play story because it goes to the core of how Washington works. Kind of like how baseball didn’t want to address the steroid problem as McGwire and Sosa were filling stadiums every game.
