Whether an October surprise may have come a month early, it’s too soon to say.
But Hillary Clinton’s weekend health scare already has started to stir speculation about whether Democratic officials should be discussing the possibility of a Plan B, in case they need to hastily arrange for a replacement nominee.
Which raises a basic question: How does that work?
Democratic Party bylaws say the DNC has the power to fill “vacancies in the nominations for the office of the president and vice president” when the national convention is not in session.
Under party rules, the DNC chair – currently Donna Brazile – could call a special meeting, and fill the vacancy by a majority vote of those present.

If Clinton is out, many democrat voters come back to their party.
The democrats would be thrown way off balance if they had to pick a new candidate and it would be utter chaos. I’m not sure they could pivot quickly enough to recover from something like that but depending on what the wikileaks thing is, we may find out. This whole pneumonia/convalescence thing seems a bit suspicious IMO.
The one thing a Clinton, any Clinton, will never do is “give up.” She will fight to the bitter end, lying, obfuscating and orchestrating a series of concocted convenient yet plausible excuses until the power structure (the DNC and Media) are forced to go through with the charade and force her presidency through sheer will and intimidation.
On the one hand she has a “diagnosis doctor” who sees her sparsely and delivers glowing report who probably isn’t aware of the vastly more complicated disease she has which is treated by another secret doctor sworn to secrecy and anonymity. And trying to get the truth out of the cabal that surrounds her would be like trying to breach Hitler’s inner circle.
She has to be physically forced into as many open appearances as possible with as much stress as possible and hope for her illness to out again and again just like it did on 9/11.
If the Democrat party powers that be decide that she is out, she is out. the primary was a farce to begin with. They will replace her in a heartbeat if she threatens their gravy train.
Early voting already going in some states, and names on the ballots in all states.

Agree with that - Michelle isn’t ready for prime-time, she has no national following and virtually no political experience ...
But if the Dems want to risk everything and go with another non-politician, more power to them! (you’d think they would have gotten their warning with Hillary)
