Voter Fraud in Virginia
Conservative Review ^ | 8 Sep, 2016 | Hans von Spakovsky

Election integrity foes mistakenly tell us voter fraud is a myth. So when legitimate voter fraud is actually discovered, these foes pretend it didn’t happen, fail to take any steps to investigate or prosecute such cases, or, even worse, try to cover it up. Take Virginia, where the State Board of Elections and some local election officials want to hide a blatant case of voter fraud involving noncitizens.

Penalties for voting as a non-citizen -

When non-citizens register or actually vote, they violate both state and federal statutes because citizenship is a requirement to vote in both state and federal elections. Falsely claiming to be a citizen on a voter registration form is a felony that violates three different federal statutes. Voting by a non-citizen under 18 U.S.C. §611 is a strict liability offense. In other words, it “does not require proof that the offender was aware that citizenship is a prerequisite to voting.” Article II, Section 1 of the Virginia constitution requires a voter to be a citizen, and §24.2-1004 of the Virginia Code makes it a felony to vote when you are “not qualified to vote” in the state.

So you would think state and local election officials would treat these crimes with appropriate seriousness. Guess again.

When I was a member of the Fairfax County Electoral Board in Virginia, we discovered close to 300 non-citizens who had illegally registered in our county, about half of whom had also illegally voted in prior elections. We removed those individuals from the voter rolls and forwarded their files to both the Commonwealth Attorney (Virginia’s equivalent of the county district attorney) and the U.S. Justice Department for investigation and prosecution. Neither took any action to enforce the law against these non-citizens.

Actually I was talking about stripping the voting rights of the citizens whose responsibility it is to enforce our laws and chose not to do so even after being altered to the crimes committed by non-citizens who vote. But I admit I wasn’t very clear with my statement. Lazy I guess!!!

As for the non citizen lawbreakers they should be deported and never allowed back into the country again, even to visit. They should also be fined a heavy penalty.

I think we will be seeing more and more cases of so-called "prosecutorial discretion," which Obama has popularized as the power of the executive to choose to not enforce a law.

I see this as a dangerous slippery slope towards either tyranny or anarchy, where a favored class of people feel they can act with impunity without fear of consequences.

We must rein in the abuse of prosecutorial discretion by holding it to the higher Constitutional standard of Supreme law of the Land based on the Constitutional oath to "faithfully execute" the office.

How does one faithfully execute an office by arbitrarily ignoring enforcing the law when it is convenient to their needs?

It won’t make you really angry until Hussein Obama’s later successors implement Sharia Law in the US.

How about a form of “political capital punishment”. This would be where if proved in court theta vote fraud occurred. Depending on the circumstances the remedies would be:

1. Subtract out the fraudulent votes if they could be identified and totaled,

2. If item 1 (above) can’t be executed then the following. If the parties ordering it can’t be identified, immediate new election, paid for by the ‘parties’ & political party accused of fraud,

3. If fault can be traced to the candidate or his main staff, item 2 (above) applies and felony charges (25 years mandatory) applied against the identified party that ordered it & permanent ban on the candidate ever holding office anywhere. (This motivates the candidate to police his staff!)

Eric (the red) Holder told us voter fraud doesn't exist, so obviously it never happens...

Carry on Comrades...

We have our own form of Socialist Realism

Definition:
a state-approved artistic or literary style in some socialist countries, as the U.S.S.R., that characteristically celebrates an idealized vision of the life and industriousness of the workers and society.

"Socialist Realism" is an interesting study in reviewing current MSM US journalism in light of what the Soviets did in the 30's

Basically, they reported and wrote the way things should be in a glorious socialist society rather than reporting reality...

I am seeing the day when forceful citizens arrest would happen.

I wish you were correct, we are long past a time when citizens should be arresting these dirtbags...

If it hasn't happened yet, it's not going to happen...

Remember "dissent" is only a good thing when libtards do it...

Conservatives do it, we are right wing "crazy birds" or whackos that will get gunned down in the street.
