When a band that has been around for more than 40 years goes on the road, fans have to be prepared for the possibility that this go-round may be the last.
While AC/DC isnt officially calling this a farewell tour, the fact that singer Brian Johnson had to leave the tour after a doctor said he was risking total hearing loss means its unlikely hell take the stage with the band again.
Johnsons departure follows co-founder Malcolm Young departure in 2014 because he is suffering from dementia. That same year, drummer Phil Rudd was arrested for threatening to kill someone and for drug possession. Yet AC/DC, which now features Axl Rose filling in on vocals, soldiers on.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

I knew nothing about about the band (after my time) and still got 4 out of 10.

4/10. I was never a big fan, though there was peer pressure to be.

Sound like their song “Shoot to Thrill” fits the situation you described.

I don’t remember hearing too much about them until the 80’s. I was more into country and bluegrass music back then.

The only pressure I had was from a Jr. High kid who walked up to me (I was in 10th grade or so) and asked me "If I liked AC/DC". I told him "No." Then he accused me of being a homo. Junior high school logic. You can't beat it.

IIRC, the album was "Highway to Hell". A friend's college roommate had played it over and over and over at a party they hosted the night before. The next morning, whilst having coffee on the back deck, we took matters into our own hands while the roommate was sleeping it off. 😈
