Mrs. Submareener watched the coughing spell this afternoon and said that Hillary needs to just quit and get some rest. This is like injecting stimulants into a race horse to get the last win out of them. It is not fair to run her into the ground.
We were at a ropes course and an Airborne Ranger got caught in the cargo net. He kept saying he couldn’t give up. This went on for a couple of minutes with him upside down struggling. If finally realized that he could not say that he gave up, so I told the belaying team that he was done, and we should let him down. Sometimes the people around you have to do what best for you even if you can’t do it yourself. Hillary is done. They need to let her down, or else she is going to die.
