That was Nokia’s operating system lol
If Nokia adopted Android from the beginning they woyldn’t have sold their handset business to Microsoft! LOL

    You claimed “dominance.”
I pointed out it was based on one dimension, but didn’t consider profitability - and a chart that didn’t measure total users.

To: KavMan
Nokia didn’t go with Android, because they didn’t think they could turn a profit by being one android manufacturer amongst many. They gambled on being the primary manufacturer of one of the big three mobile OS.

    So:
1. You like giving extra money to companies for your products
2. You don’t think that 4+ years of 80% or more of sales doesn’t mean about 80% of the total smartphone market (because, apparently, people keep their phones for longer than 4 years)
Got it!

Allí those androides are Obama phones! Lol.

As far as number 1, don't forget iAds! Apple tried - and failed, miserably - to learn how to raise revenue via advertisement. They just
aren't quite as good at it, but rest assured - they're working on it!

OOps, it’s the 59 dollar DOOGEE that has a replaceable batt... the 4G model does not...you would have to get a geek to replace it just like the iPhone.

Thanks. I’ll file that for future reference. But the need to change font size on-screen varies from one thread to another, or one page to another. The beauty of Android is that you can enlarge or shrink it, merely by sliding your fingers open or closed, at will.

Interesting, I know very, very few people who have Android devices; almost everyone I know has Apple. anecdotal, but interesting.
