Other than being an unusual photo... sort of uninteresting and little to do with astronomy. It's sort of a stitched together persona of planet earth. You know, like Hillary Clinton; a stitched together persona of surreal imagination but not an ounce of truth.

Other than being an unusual photo... sort of uninteresting and little to do with astronomy. It's interesting because it illustrates how the night sky appears to (nearly) revolve around the star Polaris, aka the North Star, as the Earth spins on its rotational axis.
