Okay, I hadn't listened to Levin in weeks, can't stand him now, but had to run some errands and took my sons car as I have the top and doors off my Jeep and it was raining. He doesn't have my stations tuned in. So I hit the AM station and Levin was on, here's my synopsis.
He first gave the "insurmountable" path Trump has to the white house and that he almost assuredly, barring a miracle, cannot win the White House. After the long diatribe just before the break he says "We nominated the wrong candidate".
Back from break he goes on and on about how he's against those that are trying to sabotage Trump, says that's wrong. Honestly, at the same time he seemingly attacking these never Trumpers he himself is doing the biggest hatchet job on Trump I've ever heard. It was amazing, at the same time while he sounded like he was laying into the never Trumpers, he himself was doing the biggest "never trump" hit job I have ever heard. I'll giving him credit, it was masterful, and I doubt the CruzBots can even detect it. No, they are in the corner hanging on every word, in the fetal position, chanting "What do I do? What do I do !!"
He then goes on to say while sabotaging Trump is wrong, and voting for Hillary is wrong, if you feel of good conscious that you cannot vote for Trump, would rather write somebody's name in, or just stay home, he respects that, due to principals.
Finally, he laid into the media for hating Cruz. At that point he just turned into a sore loser I love Ted Cruz and hope Trump loses.
Levin, and CruzBots are enemies of the Constitution every much as the liberals because they put their candidate above the country, period. Finally, I think many conservatives, of which I am one, are stupid, really just plain dumb and by and large a huge part of why we have lost elections. They cannot learn, what they know is what they will always know.
Levin then promised after Labor Day to let us know who he'll be voting for, and you can be it won't be Trump, my guess, in good conscious, it will be a write in, and I cannot imaging who? I have less than zero respect for Levin now, it was incredibly painful to listen to him, I was fighting with every ounce of strength not to turn it off. If there was a very good liberal radio station that was a non-stop attack machine on Trump, Levin's show is it.
Naming them:
Beck, The Bushes, Mary Carville, Erickson, Hume, Krauthammer, Kristol, Levin, Limbaugh, Noonan (anti-Palin), Rove, darn near everyone from National Review, The Weakly Standard, and their are so many, many more...
If Trump "fixes it" they are all out of a Job. Works for me...
The only hope the #nevertrumpers have is for Trump to get elected and fail as a leader. If Hillary wins they will be scourned for a generation. I was a Cruz supporter but he blew it. #nevertrumpers are drinking poison hoping Trump will die! Should be #suicidesquad!

Rush, like Levin, has a sneaky way of dissing Trump while giving the impression he is for Trump.
He reads negative articles/polls and repeats them over and over. Not just 2 or 3 times, but more like 7 or 8 times. Then, he claims ‘they said it, I didn’t. I just repeated it.’
[Recall how the media skewered Trump just for repeating that ‘p-word’ way back when?]
Rush has always been more establish than conservative. Many forget in the mid-years of GWBush, Rush favored comprehensive immigration reform. And Harriet Myers for the Supreme Court. And the Dubai ports deal. Rush can be swayed by his audience, however. Unlike Levin who is like a mad dog with a bone, Rush knows he has to appeal to his audience, so he knows how to subtly seem to shift positions toward what his audience favors.
IIRC, it was after the Republicans lost big in the 2006 election that Rush stated he was through carrying water for the GOP.
[Well, he still carries some. He just tries to be less obvious about it. Several months ago he gave a list of ‘people’ he had associated with in the previous year. Ironically, nearly every name was a political or media figure. But he always claims to be an outsider.]
I think they think that if Trump loses, they can say “I told you so! Cruz would have won.”
But seriously, would Cruz win? I don’t think so! I think he was a terrible candidate. I know you supported him but I just didn’t see his personality taking him all the way to the WH.

Rush has too good of a time repeating the things other people say: "Trump is a reprobate! Trump is an idiot!," and so on. He thinks he is so clever.
As others have said, Hillary would be a disaster for America, but personally great for the likes of Levin, Rush, Beck, Hewitt, Medved, et al. They can all continue their “conservative” complaint-mongering and continue to stay on the radio and sell their books.

Somebody above said it, every time Levin uses the term “principals” he is saying “not Trump”, and that word is nearly in every one of his sentences these days. It was very hard to listen to. I turned it off for about 10 seconds then said dammit, I’m going to see how far gone he is? Well, his show is a non-stop attack on Trump, and sadly a lot of folks are being influenced by him, of course the CruzBots are in so deep they’ll never find their way out.
He’s a filthy cruzlim, don’t waste your time. Catch some music while you drive!
