lA University of Pittsburgh student trying to impress a woman by leaping from one rooftop to another instead fell into a narrow gap between the buildings near campus and had to be rescued, police said Tuesday.
The student, a 22-year-old from nearby Indiana Township, fell awkwardly between buildings in the city's Oakland neighborhood and became wedged in a narrow, debris-filled space. It took rescuers about four hours to free him.
The couple apparently got onto the roof by climbing an exterior fire escape. After the man fell, the woman alerted campus police, who called city police.

They had to tear a hole in the wall to get to him? Reminds of those skeletons found wedged in the fireplaces. That stuff gives me the heebie jeebies. No way would I ever buy a house where that had occurred.

I imagine that this fellow did his best to fall gracefully since a lovely young woman was watching but apparently he failed according to this report.
He was lucky he got stuck, instead of dropping all the way to the ground, from the roof, possibly getting killed.

Guys trying to impress girls have explored the globe, made revolutionary discoveries, created brilliant works of art and started wars. And now, in 2016, they’ve also started wedging themselves between buildings.
You would think if the distance was that small he would have made it. Perhaps all is not lost, he may have won her over by sympathy. That won’t last unless she is a stupid as he is.
I'm sure they were wedged between building back then, too. It just wasn't recorded like the revolutionary discoveries, etc.

Maybe he got saved from falling the rest of the way because he had something sticking out
If the guy couldn’t jump across a space between two buildings that was so narrow and he couldn’t make it and got stuck betwixt the two, well, the girl needs to move on and find a more suitable mate. Natural selection and all that. I’m thinking this guy was really, really drunk or high or both.
