The burkha is the ultimate ‘visual symbol of female oppression’.....further it signifies to every radical muslim male that Sharia law trumps any nations laws.

To a muslim the Burka and scarf is the same representation as planting an Islamic flag on our soil, or any nations soil...it’s a visual claim to the Land for Islam.

Nowhere in Islamic law is the complete hiding of the face and body required. there are in fact very few specific recommendations either in the Qu’ran or any other Islamic scriptures about how a woman should dress.

The burka and the niqab have nothing to do with Islam, they are simply local cultural customs that have achieved the status of religious practice for those who choose to use the as such today.
