I've always had an in for Australian TV.. Admittedly, I thought the 2002 season was a bomb, and 2006 was, well, not a whole heck of a lot better. I didn't expect that they'd ever revive the series there again, and until your comment, I had completely not known that they had.
WOW. I'm just finished with episode 5 and HOLY MOLY! That is probably one of the best twists I've ever seen in a Survivor series anywhere. I'd hate to spoil it for others who might want to hunt it down, but boy, I sure hope that they shared their councils with the US version, because that two tribes going to tribal twist and the further twists in there would absolutely blow the minds of contestants here.
Can't wait to binge through the rest of the episodes and catch up (even though this week's tribal’s already been spoiled for me.)
But boy, THAT was a twist for the ages.

Just finished catching up to the last episode of the Australian version.. Only 2 there that I like.. and my favorite was voted out :/ (Kate)
Only one left I like is Sammy.. Lee is ok, but I was hoping Kate would have made it further.. Her parents were told, at one time, that IF she came out of coma, she would be a veggie for the rest of her life. SHe came back and became a heck of a strong (and great) person.
