Question for Cokie Roberts and Joe Scarborough: does the name Hillary Clinton ring a bell? On todays Morning Joe, NPRs Roberts and Scarborough proclaimed Donald Trump morally tainted. Roberts took it one step further, also declaring morally tainted those who support Trump.
Scarborough asked Roberts whether shed ever seen a candidate so morally tainted, so challenged that people are calling him a racist and calling him a con man, at the same time saying we support him? Roberts said no one has ever seen anything like this, and for good measure, citing her roots growing up in the Jim Crow South, suggested Trumps candidacy was a stain taking the country back in that direction.
But when it came to being morally tainted, Hillarys name never crossed the lips of Roberts or Scarborough.

Look at her eyes! I swear all these liberals
are on something. Either that or they all have
the same plastic surgeon.
Holy crap, a gray alien.
A million years ago I attended a Bob Dole rally or maybe it was even a get together on the night of the election.
There were few people there but Cokie and her crew were sitting not far from us covering the event. They all looked tired so I walked over and offered and asked her if she and her team would like water, juice etc.
The woman looked at me as if I had offered her a dog sh+t sandwich.
” No, no - I don’t want anything from you “ or something along those lines. She had such a dismissive sneer on her face I was shocked.
The woman is rude.
Any supporter of Democrats is morally corrupt.
When they denigrate Trump with name-calling, will anyone ever ask these elite judgmental pundits “what are your reasons for saying that?”
One sign of evil is moral inversion. Evil hates the good for being the good and declares it tainted.
Honestly, and unquestionably, we've gone from the Robber Baron era, to this era in which ‘pedigree’ is everything. It's very much like Britain, where they claim to be socialist but have just as hierarchical system as any they had when a King or Queen was fully in charge.
People like Cokie Roberts (who went to the same ‘community college’, Wellesley, that the unethical criminal Hillary went to) think they are moral, intellectual, social justice warriors. In reality they none of those things, and if they are honest with themselves when they go to bed at night they will admit that they look down their noses at people who they consider to be part of the underclass. They assuage whatever guilt they have about this by pretending (or self-deluding) to be champions of the poor and or minorities. That's because the poor and minorities, as they think of them, are a homogeneous conceptual abstraction - not really real.
They don't champion or care about lower middle class or middle class people who want to climb the ladder, and who might own a gun for self-protection, who don't want their way of life to rapidly shift, whose concept of religion is not as ‘advanced’ as the hierarchy thinks theirs is, and who might like the message given by a man who says he wants Americans to matter first. These are the people that Cokie and her friends wouldn't ever associate with, and who they routinely bash as neanderthal throwbacks whenever they have the chance. These are the people whose children go to state universities, or even local community colleges, if they go to college at all, so how could they be ‘smart and progressive’ like all of Cokie’s friends in Washington who have the right educational pedigree? It's an astounding Marie Antoinette style of elitism that they practice, while ironically parading as champions of ‘the people’. It's really, really, really sick.
One tidbit from Wiki on Senator Hale Boggs - During his tenure in Congress, Boggs was an influential player in the government. After Brown v. Board of Education, he signed the Southern Manifesto condemning desegregation in the 1950s and opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Well, Cokie, Hillary is morally tainted, too. Oh, but Cokie, Hillary went to Wellesley, just like you did, right? and she’s part of the global elites, just like you, right? So the reason Trump can’t be elected is he not because of “moral taint” but because he ain’t tainted the same way you and Hillary are!! So over this pretend fake moral outrage, where there is NONE for Hillary who has lied, cheated, stole, and probably committed murder on a massive scale since 1973, ALL ON THE PUBLIC FISC.
Cookie is mentally tainted. Liberalism twisted the old coot.
Not to mention she and Hillary were Wellesley girls together!
Yes, and Cokie and Hillary went to Wellesley College together, too. To be fair, Cokie is Class of 65 and Hillary Class of 69, but there you have it!
Good Heavens! She’s turning into Nancy Pelosi! One more facelift and she’ll have ...
Actually, I agree with Cokie Roberts. Trump and his supporters are morally tainted.
I wonder how many people stopped reading there - sometimes I like to have a little fun. Anyways, Hillary and her sleazy, parasitic supporters are also morally tainted. The Bible tells us that we are all sinners, and I’m glad to see Cokie got that one right, even partially and even if it was for the wrong reasons. However, even among flawed sinners, we can discriminate. The corrupt, power-hungry murderess is far worse than an occasionally rude businessman who has created thousands of jobs.
Here’s the reall issue here: if Cokie’s girdle gave way, would the resulting explosion kill the people in 18 states?
Thomas Hale Boggs, Sr was an American Democratic politician and a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from New Orleans, Louisiana.
Just reminding ya’ll, that a$$ hole was not a senator, but a congress critter.
There. I fixed it.
Someone who supports killing babies judges the morals of others? Someone who supports virtual genocide of black babies calls someone else a racist? Someone who has spent her adult life lying on national TV believes she is morally pure and “unstained”?
She either has big balls, no brains or no moral compass, and since she is female...I’m betting it’s a combination of the latter two.
