Donald Trump: "We're Having a Problem"
Yahoo Politics ^ | 8/16 | Josh Lederman

In a rare show of humility by the boastful billionaire, Donald Trump is acknowledging his presidential campaign faces challenges and could ultimately fall short.

The Republican presidential nominee is straying from his signature bravado as he campaigns in the battleground state of Florida, even telling a gathering of evangelical ministers Thursday he's "having a tremendous problem in Utah." The same day, the reality show star acknowledged his lack of political correctness could cost him the election if Americans reject his blunt approach.

"We're having a problem," Trump told the ministers, adding the next president could get to nominate up to five high-court justices. "It could cost us the Supreme Court."

I don't know what to make of this. But it would be nice if he showed the side his family repeatedly talks about. It would be nice not having to get up in the AM, and look at the news to see "what did Trump say now".

There's still plenty of time left to sink this beeyotch!

This Yahoo concoction goes on to cite “Republicans in Georgia” are worried he won’t win... horseshit.

Just watch for November 8.

Don’t hold your breath. It’s only going to get worse.

I recommend not watching the news, especially since it’s not news.

I can’t believe Utah isn’t behind him.

The writer refers to Trump as a reality show star. That is not what he became well-known for. I don’t blame Trump for hating the media.

I’m convinced there is a monster vote out there that is not being polled.

We’ll find out in November.

...

Romney and the illegal alien loving Mormon church are causing him problems. It really has nothing to do with Trump’s style.

There is a silent majority who support Trump but are keeping it quiet.

Like most stories about Trump in the press, this one is trying to push a negative slant on him.

I heard his speech (clips at least) and he was IIRC asking the pastors to help him in Utah by contacting their friends and allies.

A good salesman knows that there is a point at which he must ask for the sale.

Trump was asking for the sale.

My conservative friends in the Mormon Church are being ordered to support Hillary.
They are following orders.
I was shocked.

It has absolutely nothing to do with Ted Cruz.

Then your friends aren’t “conservatives;” they are robotic zealots.

Mitt like his father has poisoned the well of politics for his party’s nominee in Utah.

If Trump falls short because of Utah not voting the usual GOP way, then Mormons will watch as one by one Hellary changes SCOTUS into a liberal cesspool.

They will be scapegoated as the Harry Reid, Mitt Romney state. And Mike Lee will be finished in the party of Lincoln.

For me this campaign has changed my high opinion of Mormons as decent truthful people to all being like Mitt and Harry. Mitt’s daily diatribes against Donald were ugly character assassinations against Trump who supported and raised money for Mitts campaign.

The fact that Mormons would rather have lyin Crooked Hellary as POTUS is baffling.

It’s hard to tell who said what because the quotes have been sliced and diced to present yet another ( false) narrative

A problem in Utah is not a big deal actually
The rest of this “ story” is propaganda designed to distract and demoralize

As long as tens of thousands are turning out for rallies the only problem is lack of space to fit everyone in

And the continuing depressing reality that the United states no longer has a press

Is there a limit on what these cultists can be ordered to do?
