Must be nice to be above the law and never have to suffer any consequences for your actions and indeed, to be on the verge of being rewarded with the Presidency of the United States after years of treasonable carelessness (at best).
Cotton: Clinton discussed executed Iranian scientist on email, by Jacqueline Klimas, Washington Examiner, August 7, 2016:
Hillary Clinton recklessly discussed, in emails hosted on her private server, an Iranian nuclear scientist who was executed by Iran for treason, Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., said Sunday.
Im not going to comment on what he may or may not have done for the United States government, but in the emails that were on Hillary Clintons private server, there were conversations among her senior advisors about this gentleman, he said on Face the Nation. Cotton was speaking about Shahram Amiri, who gave information to the U.S. about Irans nuclear program .
Iran confirmed on Sunday that Amiri had been hanged for treason.
This person who had access to the countrys secret and classified information had been linked to our hostile and No. 1 enemy, America, the Great Satan a spokesman for the Iranian judiciary said. He provided the enemy with vital and secret information of the country.
Amiri disappeared while on a religious pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia in 2009, but he then resurfaced a year later in the U.S., where he visited the Iranian interest section of the Pakistani embassy and demanded to be sent home to Iran. While Amiri told reporters that he was held against his will by both the Saudis and the Americans, U.S. officials said he was receiving millions of dollars for information he provided about Irans nuclear program.
The scientist shows up in Clintons emails back in 2010, just nine days before he returned to Iran.

sorry, see my post #31 not 29
Probably not caused by Benghazi Clinton ... the bathroom door of the bathroom housing the server was kept locked except when being used .... no way could those emails have escaped that room!
In an honorable world, Hillary would resign in a humble admission of accidental treason.
There was nothing accidental about it. It was intentional. Some have assigned a spin of “negligent” to it, but that does not matter when it comes to national security. To make matters worse, as Secretary of State she is the one responsible to insure that her agency complies with the laws and regulations regarding national security and federal record-keeping requirements. She thumbed her nose at all of it - therefore, it was intentional as would be any consequences, known now or later, for her doing so.
This is why Comey’s ridiculous assessment does not hold water with me - he claimed she had no intent. Intent is not necessary. It is like a drunk driver who kills an innocent person - they did not have intent to kill anyone, but since they were DUI they are punished severely. There are also lesser offenses that clearly occurred, but since those would preclude her from having a security clearance (or being President) they were never mentioned.
Welcome to 1984 - she is simply too big to jail and she is owned by those who are too big to fail. There are so many outrageous things we are almost numb to it, but doesn’t this at least deserve the same attention and special counsel that Valarie Plame received?
Agree with your post, but it is pretty apparent if the email mentioning him by name is real that her use of his name and identity contributed to his death.
I hope his family gets a great attorney and sues her.
Excuse me, but the point of the exercise is to find folks who can tell us the state of the Iranian program.
Hitlery is a lying, evil witch....but it seems to me that the ‘email’ was written after the scientist was already in the U.S.. That being the case, her mentioning him had nothing to do with his death. He’d been marked for death by the IRI the day he disappeared from Saudi.

Possibly, but he was hanged last week if I read this right. We also don’t have her other emails so who knows what was said prior to this one. Fair to say it did not help his cause.
He’s been in prison since his return and he was hanged when the regime decided it would be best for them to do it. Nothing more, nothing less.
Exactly. Which is why, if he was a spy, he would have returned to Iran.
We wouldn’t have been looking for a basic science lesson. What US intel would be looking for includes the state of development of Iran’s nuclear programs, the logjams holding up progress, their internal schedules, the location of facilities, the identities of key personnel and command structures, id of lesser personnel who might disaffected and open for recruitment as spies, Iran’s foreign spying, id’ing sanctions cheaters, etc. Those are things only an insider would know. They are also things the Iranians would prefer that we not know, or spin our wheels with false versions. Would we look at anything the guy told us with a jaundiced eye? I’d hope so. Would we trade info with a volunteer defector? Seems laughable, though Obama might do anything.
